We have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and I'm trying to schedule some meals that AREN'T burgers, hot dogs, etc. Kona's menu looks good to me, but would it be a good place to take the kiddos? We'll likely be on the dining plan.

On our last vacation we tried Kona for the first time and I was pleasently surprised. Our whole family LOVED it. We have it booked for our upcoming trip in May and I can't wait to go back! :woohoo:

The food was wonderful, as well as the atmosphere. We had really good service and we all had a great time. Something that the kids might enjoy, they have the Tinker Bell and the Cars cups that light up there (I think those cups are a little exta, but they're worth it!) I'm not even going to lie, I got one myself and I still drink out of it all the time :rotfl:

We enjoy Kona and go almost every trip. We did have one bad experience where my son ordered a burger at dinner time and got sick from it (on his birthday), so we don't ask for anything off the menu anymore (burgers only at lunch). It is not themed and opens out to the walkway to the upper lobby, but I've seen many families with young kids eating in there and they do have some interesting things to look at. I think you would enjoy it.

Kona is very informal and family friendly. I think it would be great for younger children especially if you like the menu! BTW I love the chocolate fondue.
