Thoughts on Kona for Lunch/Early Dinner?

So--this question is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay premature, but what can I say, starting to plan gets me excited for our trip and makes the days pass faster!

The plan for our trip this year (in December, way premature--right ) is to one day tour the monorail resorts to see decorations and then go to MVMCP if we get party tickets. I was looking into restaurants we haven't tried before on the monorail line for lunch/early dinner before MVMCP.

Thoughts on Kon and any recommendations for restaurants you like better?

Just want somewhere with good food, nice atmosphere..something "Disney"!!

Good! I did a quick thread search and read mostly good things about Kona--I'm just always hesistant to try new places (especially for the price you pay for a WDW TS meal )

Obviously, we have loads of time to decide, change plans, etc. just wanted to get the ball rolling while I'm stuck inside on this cold Sunday in January
