Thoughts on Jan reservations at LeCellier?

With all the rumors about LeCellier changing to signature, I was curious what people are doing with making January reservations there?

Do you think if they were closing for any type of refurbishment the system wouldn't accept reservations for those days? I made reservations for Jan. 23 with no problems but if things change and they are closed or change the menu, I am hoping for enough notice to secure another nice restaurant.

Thoughts?
Thanks!

To be safe, I think I would go ahead and make another ADR elsewhere also. You can always cancel the extra one when you find out for sure they will be open or not changed to a signature dinning.

I just finished making my ADRs for January. I suspect that LeCellier will go signature in 2011, but it's not a deal breaker for me. We use the TiW, so as long as they are still part of it, it's a go for me. I don't think we'll see any down time at all. Pretty much one menu one day and a new menu the next day. I booked 2 lunch ADRs and 1 dinner ADR in the hopes of a new menu. I'm there for 17 days, so we do eat at the same places more than once during a trip this long.

I expect if they change they will give 180 days notice to avoid these type of issues.

It's difficult to imagine the nightmare it would create if they changed when people already had reservations and they know how many people do so with the ddp.

I'm not a fan of double booking to be safe. Reservations are in demand and by doing so you're taking up a slot that someone else might want or really need.

I called about a Le Cellier reservatation for Dec and asked about it being 2 tbl service next year and the CM said that she had no idea where that came from cause in the system it is definatly still one and that is what they are booking it for.

In the past the way these things have been handled was that all reservations made BEFORE the new plan was announced stayed at the old cost. However, anything booked that would be more then 180 days (or whatever it was at the time) from when the new plan was announced would be the new cost.
