Thoughts on "How to get excited" - A FEEL GOOD THREAD

I had an ADR, at Garden Grill, celebrating DS's 4th birthday, with a cake. Without going into too many details, there was a misunderstanding, our table was given to a different party, they couldn't find my cake, I was not happy, and had a few angry words with the manager. They finally found a table, with the best waiter ever, and the characters were over by us within 5 minutes of us sitting down. When it was time to bring out the cake, we were so excited to see Mickey himself, on his way to our table with the birthday cake for my son. Not only was it the night we were celebrating my son's birthday, but it was Mickey and Minnie's birthday as well (11/18). The best waiter in the world, had everyone sing and then re lit the candles so we could get pictures of my son and Mickey "blowing" out the candles together. The people at the Garden Grill, turned one of the most frustrating situations, into one of the best nights we have ever had!

That's my sons birthday too! It sounds like your son had a birthday he will never forget

We were at MK in September and both my boys had sleeveless shirts on because it was so hot. We saw Pinocchio and he pointed to their "muscles". He told them to do push ups and then he got down and did them as well!

1999 - our disneymoon
-taking our dd for her 1st trip when she was 2 and just seeing Disney thru her precious eyes and excitement with both sets of grandparents.
-now our dd is 13 and is going on her 31st Disney trip and still loving it!!
-when they had year of a million dreams and dd was 8 and was asked to be the smallworld cruise director and got to go upstairs and wave to all the people where they load up(she actually got to do this twice that year)
-being asked by a very wealthy family to be their personel tour guides on their week long vacation, the father paid for all 29 family members plus me, dh, and dd @ beach club concierge, deluxe dining, plus got paid for going to our favorite place, awesome family and we made sure they had a magical vacation and they did, a trip of a lifetime!
-every year we now have a party of 19 that goes with us and won't go to Disney without us and do you know how much we love that, we love watching each and everyone of them making memories at the happiest place on earth, and making our own! 2 more months till the next trip!!
