Thoughts on DLR in Mid-February?

We have a couple of options for a DLR trip in early 2011 and I'm wondering what things are like in February. Specifically we're looking at the Wednesday after President's Day through the following weekend. We have often been in summer, and our last few trips have been in September and October, but our schedules won't allow that this year. Can anyone tell me about weather? crowds? other issues?

We're prepared for shorter park hours and more refurbs, but we're hoping to trade those things for shorter wait times and lower crowds all around. Thoughts??

Thanks for your help!

Normally, mid Jan through Feb is relatively quiet, except for the week you've chosen. If you mean you will be there two days after President's day, the park will not be empty. That entire week is a holiday/ski week for many California school districts. The park may not be packed, but it will not be as empty as the week before or the week after.

If you have flexibility on dates, and you don't mind shorter hours, I would reschedule for a different week in Feb.

If not, you will be fine. Just don't expect any empty park.

I know we'll be there with you that week! :cool1:
