My husband loves steak. Would this be a good choice? We also have reservations for LeCellier one night.

I love CSH and think it is the most underrated restaurant at WDW. The only potential downside is some noise from Chef Mickey's.

Concourse is pretty good so you should enjoy it. But my first choice would be Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club) for great steak and great service.

My family & I have been to the Concourse Steakhouse 2 times & we thought it was a very good restaurant, so if we get the chance we would want to go back. Since we also stay at the Contemporary we won't have far to go eat dinner lol. As for the noise at Chef Mickey's, the only time you hear it is every half hour when they have celebrate with Mickey Mouse song & are waiving the napkins.

We liked it alot. We went to a late dinner, about 8:00 and it was really very quiet. The food was excellent. The service was great. It was a nice little haven right in the middle of the concourse. I would go again. :thumbsup2

This is not only one of the most under-rated resturants at WDW it really is one on my favorites. I have been to both the Concourse and the Yachtsman Steakhouse, and I really likes the Concourse Steakhouse better. The Concourse is my first ADR on August 13th. I can not wait!!! :mickeyjum

We really liked it a lot last year and made an ADR again this year but then I decided to try some new places so I did cancel it for Le Cellier. I would definitely go back again but I just wanted us to try new things and my DD wasn't giving up the ADRs for CP or PSB without a fight.

If I heard Celebration while I was at CSH I would start singing along and twirling myself! :dance3:

I am soo glad to hear all these great reviews! We are looking foward to trying here for our first time this September.

Concourse is one of the new places we booked for our August trip. After dining at so many wonderful places last Sept. on the dining plan, we are looking forward to trying a couple of new places. We didn't really care for Yachtsman. Although, we had a bad server, so it went to the bottom of the list this time.

I always go to Concouse not only for Dinner but also breakfast. I prefer it over LeCellers after the terrible service I received at LeCellers will never do it again. Besides I enjoyed the food much better at Concourse. Can't speak about Yatcmans except had read several bad reviews mostly dued to servers not so much about food.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience at the Yachtsman. Next time you go, ask for Oscar to be your server.

Do you have to go throught the booths of MK to get to the contemporary resort and the concourse steakhouse? If you do, do you pay for parking, or do they let you through if you give them your reservation number?

No you don't have to go through the booths at MK to get to CR. If you take disney transport to MK you just walk etiher directly to CR (via sidewalk) or you can walk to the resort monorail and hop on. If you are driving yourself you will stay in the lane that is marked for resorts and you can park at CR and give them your ADR number I belive they will give you a 3 hour parking pass also they have valet there as well.

you don't have to go through MK at all, you just go to the resort and tell them you have a adr and they'll let you in. you only pay if you do valet and you don't have to give any adr #'s... just go in and catch an elevator to the 4th floor.

I am a steak nut... last month we enjoyed Concourse...but Le Cellier was our favorite!! Narcoossees was great as well, Yachtsman was just ok...

It was our wedding day when we ate at Concourses and they made a big deal of it. It was really nice... they couldn't believe how calm we were :).. no biggie. They gave my ds5 the light up cubes and a cupcake for the occasion, they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne. they also did that at Narcoossees :) sweet gesture! They gave us a certificate that said something like thanks for choosing us for your special day and they all signed it. that was nice. I had a personalized shirt on and the waitress had to have everyone come look at it :) Thanks to a fellow dis member... it had Cinderella and prince charming in the bridal gear and said "Mike and Lindas Happily Ever After" w/our wedding date... it was lunch time so it was actually pretty quiet.

We have eaten there at least 5 times, always have had a great meal.

I have eaten at the Concourse several times for breakfast-- gotta go for the stickey mickeys! :cool1: but never for dinner---- i have been thinking about changing my ressie from the Coral Reef to the Concourse- but i am a vegetarian and checking out the menu- i dont see any veggie selections- i know they can probably make me something- but

just wondering if any veggies have eaten there, if so what did you get??

Thanks!! :goodvibes
