Thoughts on a Waitlist please!

Currently I'm waitlisted for a Savannah View the nights of 12/8 12/9 12/10 & 12/11 and have been since 7. 12/5-12/7 came through for me as I split the waitlist.

So on DVC online shows 12/9 & 12/11

should I book them and wait list as of today the 8th and 10th? Or just keep hoping my full waitlist will come through.

Are you willing to move? I'm guessing that you have someplace & are hoping for AKV. I wouldn't risk having to move so much, but it is true that single day wait lists seem to come through a lt. I figure I have many more years of membership, & I would keep the wait list I have.

Book it! Then you have until 11/9 to cancel if 12/8 and/or 12/10 don't come through as long as you're using current year points ... Then go for the two single night wait lists. I'm guessing you have a backup plan for 12/7-12?

I agree with Bobbi if you do take those 2 nights and the other 2 do not come through you will have to check-in after 4PM 12/9 check out by 11AM 12/10 and check back in after 4 on 12/11 does not sound like a lot of fun. If you have a secured 4 nights that you are going to keep as a back up plan if the other 2 nights do not come through then by all means you may get lucky! Remember the 1st couple weeks are the busiest DVC times! Good luck

I would book it. I have done that. It is easier to get 1 or 2 nights than all of them at one time. I wasw looking for a 2 bedroom villa for 12/30, 12/31 and 1/1 at OKW. I checked the website everyday and I am happy to say I have completed my stay - one night at a time. We are now at OKW from 12/28 - 1/5. We were always prepared to go to SSR for any of those nights but as of today, my family is all set.

I will tell you to keep checking yourself - not just wait for the waitlist. I checked this morning and there was my 12/30. I did have it waitlisted but it hadn't gone through. I called immediately and reserved it and had them linked together into one reservation.
