Thoughts on a new Minivan/Crossover/SUV??

We also have a 1995 Honda Odyssey, best vehicle ever, just wish they would have remade this one with a bigger motor........ (we kept it so that our son could drive it when he turns 16 next yr) We purchased a 2008 Honda Pilot and love it, seats 8, I have found that you always get what you pay for. A friend of mine went from the Odyssey to a generic mini van and hated every minute of it, they just purchased a brand new Odyssey!

Wow, this post surprised me as we just purchased our 3rd Dodge Caravan. Retired the '95 (still working so gave it to my BIL) I use the 2000 and DH gets the 2009(only b/c it would get really scratched at my work) We drove it to WDW in March and loved the ride. I have a bad back and didn't have a problem with the 9+ hours in the car at all. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. Good luck with your search.

We've had 2 and they were both problem vehicles. We leased a 2006 Caravan and after 2 years (and only 25,000 km) the engine was starting to have problems and we had a few other things that had to be fixed before that. We then leased a 2008 Caravan (mostly because the payments were way cheaper then other vans) thinking that we couldn't possibly have problems again and prob just had a bad 2006, the 2008 was even worse!! We had so many issues with the van that within a few months I was counting down to the end of the lease, we even gave it back a few months early with payments left to make so that we could go buy a more reliable vehicle.
