Ok guys, I really like when people do the "here now" or "just got back" posts so i figured Id go ahead a give my impressions from my weekend trip.

First off, the magic and fun of Disney World is far from dead. It was great and very refreshing to be reminded of how great WDW is after being in the negativity that sometimes happens on these boards (not pointing fingers, ive been very well apart of it) We had fun from the moment I arrived to the very moment I left. Now im gonna just go ahead and list off some thoughts real quickly
-Cast members were 98% extremely friendly and in the disney spirit.
-Guest were about 85% friendly. Definitely some rude ones, better than ive seem though
-Prices have gone up significantly it seems on everything from food to merchandise. At least $2-3.
-Crowds were suprisingly not as heavy as last year. Still crowded but i could tell definitely a decrease
-food was iffy.
-DO NOT book a night at CSR and then transition to POP for 2 nights. You will be highly disappointed
-never staying at POP again. To crowded
-got to ride Space twice, splash twice, thunder twice, people mover 4 timess, buzz twice, HM, pirates and CoP all in the same day at MK. That was great considering it was Memorial Weekend.
Trails End is the BEST value for your money. That place is fantastic
-overall a great experience

So thats just some quick thoughts about my weekend getaway. Overall, a wonderful trip that rejolted the magic for me. Rides and attractions were great, cast member were nearly all friendly, and the crowds werent unbearable like they were last year. So folks dont worry! Your trip is gonna be amazing! WDW is still WDW. Tons of fun to be had there

No unfornuately i did not! Hoping to do it on my full trip in Sept! I couldnt imagine it being anything but fantastic though

Love Trails End and it is so easy to get to using the MK boat!

Thanks for sharing!

Trails End is on our next trip and love hearing it's a great value!

Your gonna love it! The food is really good! And the price you pay for it is way less compared to other buffets. I understand some places you are being charged for the characters but the food isnt even that good. Trials End's has some of the best fried chicken ive ever eaten

Glad you talked about Trails End. We're going in January, and with 5 adults and 2 kids, I wondered if it was a hassle to get there from MK.

If your at the MK and go straight there, that is the easiest way. However, its still somewhat of a hassle. You have to wait for a boat, sometimes up to 20 mins, and then the boat ride can be long there. So leave with plenty of time before your reservation

Thanks guys! Was a great, short, but great trip! Only negative was i didnt get to see the nightime AK stuff, but ill be back in september for that!

Thanks for the info. I always worry about making reservations for lunch coming out of MK, not knowing how long we'll have to wait for the boats. We will give it a try in January.

We didnt wait to long. About ten mins. But then they wait 5-10 mins, if the boat isnt full, for more guests. So all in all id leave 30-40 mins time for the boat ride. Just to be safe
