Thoughts And Info On Poynesian

Going to stay at the Polynesian for the 1st time week of Aug 10. I am going with my sister and 2 DS (14 & 16 yrs old). Any suggestions? Am I making the right choice?

I would check out the Poly FAQ thread. It is a stunnig resort. Very lush and it smells wonderful.
The transportation is great cuz of the monorail and you can also walkto the TTC.
GReat food, a great pool and nice new rooms.

You are making the best choice IMO. I am a huge Poly fan. I fell in love with the resort becuase not only is it beautiful, it has so much to offer. My DH loved the ease and convenience and my kids loved the pool and the fact that they could be at the MK in minutes. What was originally supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip for our family, is now going to a second in '09. I just have to shoare this with my mom and dad as well.

Please check out Seaspray's Poly thread. It is just full of everything you could possibly want to know. I credit her for our trip being so wonderful, because her pics and answers convinced me that the Poly would be the right choice for my family.

You will also love Tikiman's site if it is currently up and running (tikiman.com I think). He is a big fan and has descriptions of the individual buildings. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Poly and have since my family started going there in 1973. Enjoy!
