Thoughts, advice? Mid Nov vs. Mid Dec trip?

Just by looking at how Disney Vacation Club points are utilized, the first two weeks of December are likely to be less crowded than anything in November. That changes as the calendar approaches Christmas.
.

The DVC seasons were set up years and years ago and indicate very little of today's crowd patterns. The middle of November is a bit of a down time. Disney has done a very good job of increasing visits in what used to be down times.

OP - either of those times will be good. Mid-Nov has the likelyhood of being warmer but it wasn't this year! As others have mentioned it can vary a lot. We've worn shorts and tank tops one year and winter hats and coats another year during both of those times. Mid December will be full swing into the Christmas holidays while mid-November they will be in it in the MK and in the midst of switching over other places.

I always go the Tuesday after Thanksgiving for 10 days to celebrate my birthday. I've found it to be a great time to go both weatherwise and crowdwise.

We skip Thanksgiving and right around Christmas because of the crowds. We usually go either late Oct/early Nov or late Nov/early Dec and we are always really happy. Just finished a Nov 28-Dec 5 trip and the crowds were great. We usually get 1 day scattered showers during our trips, this trip we lucked out and didn't get any. Weather is good for us, hot enough for the pool but usually not hot enough to trigger meld downs.
