On Saturday as we were leaving Disneyland, my daughter asked why they don't check your bags as you leave the esplanade area. I told her it was because they don't care what you take out, they are just looking to see what you are bringing in. I never even mentioned what type of items they may be looking for. She then replies. Well, if someone hides a gun in their sock, they won't find it because they don't look there, only in your bags.
Okay, apparently a 7 year old has figured out that the bag checks are more of a waste of time than do any good. I don't mind them looking for items that shouldn't be taken in, but if you know the only place they will look is a brief glance in your bag, you just have to put them someplace they won't be looking. So the only ones that have any trouble are the ones that don't realize that disney doesn't allow items such as glass bottles, as opposed to someone that really wanted to do any harm.
