Thoughts about last week of March 2019?

Thoughts about crowd level this week? It’s a big spring break week on the west coast, but I’m wondering if it’s a little better next year since Easter is so late next year?

Based on Touring Plans, that week is a 7, 8, and 9 crowdwise. That is subject to change.

I do not know the various spring break schedules. I have never gone in March. My children have spring break in April, but the university where I work has spring break the third week in March.

There’s a Spring Break poll thread around here. Last week of March is going to be popular in 2019. We’ll be there but I’m not worried about crowds because it’s out of our control. We'll rope drop and book late AM FP and do our best to refresh for additional.

I think this was the busiest for spring break week when people have asked in the past.

Thanks all! Trying to come up with the least worst combination of dates :). Spring break is easy but busy-probably late June is similar. We are west coasters so are really familiar with planning for DL but WDW is a much bigger production for us.

This is DS's spring break week (and MANY other kids). We have been a few times during this week. We find it pretty brutal. The parks are just packed by 11:00 it would seem. Then again, there just doesn't seem to be a quieter time down at WDW anymore. We do go in summer (we are slaves to the school schedule) and maybe it's a tad lighter. Also if you're wanting to swim or go to water parks, it's completely hit or miss. We have been there when it's beautiful during that week, and also when it's freezing (we were in serious need of jackets, and not just a hoodie!).

The last week in March is the spring break of the district we are in (it never changes, and we are in the largest district in CO). It seems a large percentage of the families we know, maybe 35%, head to Disney for Spring Break. So, imo, it will be very busy. However, I am also of the opinion there is no slow time anymore. Go in early Sept (when we typically go) and yes, there will be less people but also less staff, and lines will feel just as long and busing will take forever. I really think you just go when it works for you and have a good touring plan.
