My daughter and I just participated in our first Big Give on the Disboards -- we made autograph scrapbooks for a beautiful little 3 year old girl and her wonderful big brother who's 5. Just thought I'd share our pictures. We also made photo mats for the pictures but didn't put them on the pages because we won't know the orientation of the photos. These are 8x8 pages.

What's really really cool about this is that my daughter & I will be at WDW the very same time that the family is -- which is a total coincidence. Can't wait to meet them in person!!! This is my first Big Give -- there are a lot of talented people out there!!! I'm looking forward to participating again sometime.

Thanks for all the positive reinforcements ladies -- it was so much fun to do, but I was also critical of it not being "enough" (under-embellished).

Thanks for the compliment -- and don't feel bad, I didn't know what the Big Give was either. According to their website:

The big give idea was inspired by Oprah's big give. Beth (from the disboards) came up with this wonderful idea to all do something special for Isabelle. It turned out wonderful and several wanted to continue on. Heather suggested we keep the Gives going and Shannon kindly took on the task of organizing more big gives for Make a Wish families. After seeing the success and the happy faces we have decided to carry on this tradition.

The big give is where each make a wish family will receive items including custom outfits, crayon roll ups and autograph books, etc for a special trip to disney. Also we send pixie dust which is just sending whatever you like (postcards, coloring books, whatever).
