Those with tags

Oh - my first two tags concern a "reality" creative writing/ group project/ design competition we had here a few years ago - met some great people and really learned how to work as a team! I tied for first place the second time we played. (of course the time we played for real prizes I was eliminated early....)

The disco song one was also actually a part of WPASADI - I wrote new lyrics to an old song in honour of the tag fairy and got the tag as a bonus!!

The chocolate one - I honestly don't remember - although I stand by the quote!

All of mine are from the same thread. Alphabet Mom is a nickname other Disers have given me. The next is a reference to aquanet fog. And the last, well, that's about, um, it's about ...... oh, look, a squirrel And, I owe them to Dis friends who begged the tag fairy to give me a tag. I love my little squirrel!!!

Mine are pretty easy..

The DIS Support group was a ongoing thread here for a while many years ago..though of us going through some rough times all banded together, gave encouragement and support. It was a nice thread for people to just be together.

Jadzia or Ezri? Well my name is Dax, and in Star Trek, there are 2 Dax in the show...BTW, I am Jadzia

And finally, I own 4 crazy pugs, who all love me dearly!

Well, my original tag was traded in, there was thread awhile back where we could donate our tags to some poor souls with no tags. I did. I believe it said something about lemon juice and paper cuts.

My scrolling tag is pretty self explanatory and my second one is because I'm a Harry Potter fanatic! I asked for a HP related tag when I donated mine.

My first one was from some name thing where you do something with certain letters of you name to get the new name. The "older" part was from me complaining about my tag getting old.

The second one was from a most embarrassing moments thread.

The third was from a thread about our first pets.

I think they all came fairly quickly, like within a day or two.

MyDis Veteran went through a night of changing colors and then the tag fairy settled on lime. That was on one of those tag fairy threads I think.

My Anderson Cooper tag was taken from a thread where the tag fairy stopped by and tagged all of the regular posters. That had been an older quote of mine on that thread.

My last tag is my favorite. A few years ago the DIS was giving hints as to a contest that they were having. They set up different profiles with the names and pictures of real celebrities. When these "celebrities" would show up on the thread, people would start posting questions to try to get hints about the contest. One day "Ty Pennington" was on the thread. SOmeone asked him "What do you know". "Ty" replied with a long list of things that he knows, all related to home repair. I replied to "Ty's" post with a simple "Wanna move in with me?" and got that tag. It came very quickly. We had so much fun with that!

I really have loved reading everyone's stories! They're so much fun. As much as I pretend I'm witty, I tend to come off as a boring writer. Maybe someday I'll come up with something funny and rememberable!

I don't think you need to try to be witty or remembered....and by the way, no one is more boring then me. I swear every time I post, I kill a thread. So just keep reading and posting, it will come eventually.

My tags are pretty old and someone usually has to point out to me that I've gotten one because I'm pretty unobservant. I like them, though.

Speaks food in German comes from a thread asking what languages you could speak. I lived in Germany and I'm really good at ordering food there. Oh, and beer.

The second one is about DH--I can't remember what it was about aside from that.

The special santitation type service came from a thread about tipping garbage men at Christmas. I don't tip mine because, well, I don't receive any special sanitation type service.

The one about the cartoon rodents came from a thread where Mal was trying to explain about some cartoon guinea pig and I was unimpressed.
