We are traveling in May. I have never paid more than $180 for a ticket from either IAD (Dulles) or BWI (Baltimore) to MCO before. In September, we paid $155. I can't find any flights for under $207 (Southwest) for our dates and the time we need to fly back home - DD has a dance recital that night!!! It's 3 months out. I have always purchased my airline tickets before now. Should I continue to wait?

Hi neighbor, we just purchased our tickets for Apr/May on United this weekend. We paid $176 rt. Out in the AM and home in the PM. Delta's service will stop on May 1, leaving only United as the ONLY non-stop carrier out of Dulles. (One reason why I didn't wait this time). I found last year that airfare tend to say higher than normal out of our area. Last year (4 trips) we paid $163 as the lowest. United's flights and prices change daily. The flight I booked is now $207.

We just booked our flight from DCA to MCO for May 19-25 and paid $176.70 roundtrip, nonstop flights on USAirways. For the same days, we could have flown out of BWI for $175 or Dulles for $175. BWI was on Southwest and USAirways, not sure about the Dulles flights though.
