We have never done this trip before and I don't want to make a serious error on our first night there! We arrive on 10/25 at 10:10am, we have rented a car, and are staying at a Villa that is 20 minutes from the airport but cannot check in until 3pm anyways. We have a 12:30 reservation at T-Rex in DTD (kids really loved the look of this place), and I'm wondering if I'm pushing it. Originally I had the ressies at 1pm, but wanted to move it back a touch because we have dinner ressies at 6:30 and didn't want to be still stuffed from lunch :(

What do you guys think?

You'll probably make it, but here's what I would do:

Cancel the reservation and join the Landry's Select Club. Membership gives you priority seating without a reservation. That way you can just show up when ever you get here and not have to worry about rushing or missing it entirely if there's an unexpected delay.

It also will depend on when you are visiting. Weekend/weekday/holiday week.... we went to DTD this past Friday at 9:30 am, parked with no problem and walked around a bit. When we went to leave around noon people were swarming in and the parking deck was full of cars looking for a spot. The construction is not going to be done until sometime next year, so allow yourself plenty of time. Have fun!

We are going on a Sunday, so I'm thinking it would be pretty busy :( I don't know, I'm just worried about delays from the flight to there mostly :(

If you flight is not delayed at all, and if you are driving straight from the airport to DTD like it sounds like you are, I think there is a good chance you can make it. We do ME, and we are usually at our resort approximately an hour and a half after the plane lands. One time we picked up our luggage ourselves since were coming in later in the evening, and that time it took us 2 hours to get to the resort using ME. Downtown Disney is about a 30 minute drive from the airport. So, if it takes you an hour, or even an hour and 15 minutes, to collect your bags and get the rental car, you would still have an hour to get to your ADR. Parking in DTD is probably going to be a real pain on the weekend with the construction, but hopefully you would still have plenty of time to find a spot. Just be sure you pick a rental car company that is onsite at the airport, rather than one where you have to take a shuttle to get there. The only iffy factor is flight delays.
