Those using swagbucks ???

For what it's worth Home Chef is great. The portions are just right and the quality of ingredients is the best out of any of the meal kits we've tried. We also really like the menu selections. We've probably gotten 10-12 boxes with 3 different meals in each and there are probably only 2 I wouldn't eat again.

I also have enjoyed Home Chef. I have tried many of these delivery meal kits and Home Chef and Hello Fresh are my favorites.

I just used DH's mypoints acct to sign up for homechef since I already have/had an homechef acct and think i subscribed through my swagbucks. I recived the discount using his info but nothing pending in his mypoinys acct yet.

I'm confused. I did the order for Home Chef through Swagbucks (2 people/2 meals) and paid $19.80. But when I get to the step to choose my meals, it shows SUBTOTAL: $39.80. Their suggested food was steak tacos (I kept that) and Jalapeno burgers (I swapped that out for chicken breasts/veggies) Am I going to be charged $20 for that difference? I have til Friday to finalize the menu.

To everybody doing the Home Chef offer, make sure to check your Chase CC offers. I have one for 10% back (maximum $8.00). Since all you have to do is pay with the Chase card it makes it a stackable offer
Darn, I don't have that offer available, but thanks for pointing that out. I always ignore those emails and I found a few others I can use.

mine credited yesterday. Keep in mind they have a limit on how many you can do each month

When I go to clip them some will say 'limit reached', so I ignore those. Is that what you mean? I did 30 yesterday and got 30 SB, but got nothing at all for the ones I clipped Fri, Sat, and Sun.

No. Mine did the same thing.

I picked three meals and my subtotal was 59.70 but the charge on my cc is 29.70.

Thanks for the info. I found on a further page that the total worked out as I hoped : meals $39.80 + $10 shipping - $30 credit = $19.80

Now I'm concerned I won't get credit for this from Swagbucks. I took a Swagbucks break for Christmas and am just getting back into it. I didn't read the terms very well and realized too late it says "must enter valid information including credit card information". I used Paypal. So far the purchase is not showing up in my SB activity, not even as pending, but I just did it last night.

LOVE home chef!! Their food is high quality and their meals are delicious. can't say the same for hello fresh.

I just did it on Mypoints and it didn't credit instantly. Paid $19.80 and used my chase card for 10% back.

I second this! DH & I have been subscribers for over a year and have honestly never had a bad meal. Everything is packaged really nicely and portion sizes are great. Wish I could get the SB for the offer, but it says only 1 per household.

Thanks everybody for the good reviews on Home Chef. I went ahead and took the offer. Not really doing it as a money maker since I need to order for 4 of us, but just hoping to save a bit of work, time, and a bit of money. I did Hello Fresh almost two years ago. I liked it but couldn’t justify the cost. But I came away with several recipes that I still use, and sometimes when you’re in a cooking rut, that’s a great thing! Got an email that my sb are pending almost immediately after I ordered, so that’s always a relief. So $30 off first order, plus 3k sb, free shipping, and $10 back from an Amex offer. Hoping it’s good!

We got our gobble box today. We thought it was good but both my kids ate two servings. They are big eaters though. The cookies were really good. I liked that prep was minimal.

My dd really likes these kits. Looking forward to trying home chef in two weeks.

For the team challenge swagup, is there a minimum giftcard you must redeem for? Can it be combined with on sale giftcards? I was thinking to combine the "on sale" discounted giftcard (Target) with this swagup. No reason that shouldn't work, right? I've only been redeeming for paypal because it's easier but thinking the discount of $4 would be worth it ($25 gc, on sale for 2200 and 100 swagup). We shop at target enough that it's basically like cash.

On another note...Anyone else doing a month long SB survey about online purchases? It usually appears in my answer survey list as a 2 minute survey with a reward of 25 SBs. When I enter the survey it says complete survey for 28 days and receive $50 worth of incentive points. ANYWAY the survey began the 2nd of January but disappeared yesterday. Anyone else having this problem?

Are you talking about the middle square? It's not for redeeming it's for purchasing through mygifcard. I didn't think there was a redeem for gc this time. If there is and I just missed it it doesn't matter what you redeem for or how much.

I redeemed for a $3 Amazon GC and got the team challenge swagup. It should work for any GC. Be sure to activate it first!
