Fraud Control from my credit company called me today regarding a 12.97 charge from IC Free Shipping. They were willing to mark it as fraudulent, which would mean that my card would be cancelled. I opted not to do that, and looked the company up. There are lots of complaints about them online, because people, while signing up for something else, inadvertantly signed up for a shopping club as well, and the charge is $12.97 a month.
And that's what happened to me. I signed up for an offer on SB for Shari's Berries (I sent them to Mom for her birthday!), and it was also a membership to this service, unbeknownst to me. Today was a month later and I got charged.

I called their # tonight, and after looking up my name, the woman who answered explained their service, and told me when I signed up. I then cancelled, and she gave me no trouble.

For anyone looking to cancel WWF monthly donation: I had a hard time with this one so for anyone else here's what I finally had to do. Email membership@wwfus.org with your name, address, email address, current donation amount and a request to stop monthly donations immediately. I received confirmation within 24 hours.

I have self check out by me, I'm just not sure which barcode to scan on the gift card... or how to use a mobile gift card at self check out.

I have self check out by me, I'm just not sure which barcode to scan on the gift card... or how to use a mobile gift card at self check out.

Swagbucks sends you an email with a link to an e-card. You can print it out and use it as a regular gift card. You can also add it to your phone on the Target app. I don't have self checkout at my store, but the cashier can scan either the paper or the phone to get your card. Also, on these ecards, there is only one place to scan, so you should be ok at self checkout as well.

For the Proactive deal, I've seen the sample boxes sell for $14.99 and $19.99 on eBay the last couple days. I have no idea if it's "allowed" but might be a way to squeeze more out of the Proactive offer for those that did it but don't intend to try it.

The actual points get accumulated with your other bonuses at the end of the month. On the calendar, where they describe the awards, the one you accomplished gets highlighted, but I don't know what time of day.

I was just about to ask what time they post your shop and earn credits. I have one pending for today, but it's still not part of my total.

Anyone know how easy it is to cancel the Home Chef after trying it? Was thinking of trying it with the $30 off automatically on their site, and another 3000 SB, but thier TOS scares me. They claim one can cancel anytime, but I've had other companies attempt to still take money from CCs after canceling.

I did it a few weeks ago and it was easy to cancel. I just logged into my account and stopped deliveries. It tells you that you can come back any time to restart deliveries, but it was super simple - didn't have to talk to anyone!

ETA: I'm thinking about trying this on DH's account, but I don't want to push my luck. We really enjoyed the meals and it's a great deal with the swagbucks!

If you sell the items individually you get more $. That is what I did with mine (this was months ago), I got $35 for one item alone!

It will show as achieved straightaway but it has to be earned in the same month, so that is why its not showing for you if you say you hit it Tuesday as we have changed months meaning you started the run in September so it won't count.

I found a charge on my bank account today from GLD MYSCORE for 39.90. I am guessing it came from an offer on SB, but I can't be sure. I tried calling the number on that item, and was put hold for a long time. I then did a search on the number, and it came up as GoldenScoresLLC.com . On that site it says that I should have received a welcome letter - never did. The first communication I had from them is this charge. But that website had a different phone #, so I tried that, and eventually someone picked up.

Cancelling this was a headache. The person who answers the phone can't cancel your account, so I had to be passed to someone else. Both people tried to talk me into this service, which has alternate plans, lots of features, blah, blah , blah.

Now my challenge is to figure out how I got signed up for this. I looked through the Offers I did for the last 2 months on My SB page, and I don't see anything that says My Score. (There is another company, ClickMyScore, that I did sign up for, and I am sure they are different - and they charge less!). I am wondering if someone is using my account info for some reason, and if I should ask my bank to change my #.

I'm posting this to warn you about what info you give out and to be careful about what offers you consider.

UPDATE: I called ClickMyScore after I posted this, to make sure I had cancelled with them, and was told that I had already cancelled earlier today. Turns out that they are the same as MyScore.com and I was charged more than I was supposed to be. I will file a complaint with my bank and see what happens.

Thanks! I got 3 of them. I had already met my first goal of the day, but I went ahead and did them because I was afraid they'd all be gone tomorrow. I might actually make the second goal now!

Question about returning items from shop and earn. I purchased some things online from Kohls and returned them after the sb had posted. I just noticed there is a small exclamation point by my shop and earn. Now I have to return something else after the sb posted. Are they going to get mad about that? I realize they might take back sb, I just don't want to ruffle any feathers

For those who have completed the Proactiv offer before, does the SB amount show pending? Or does it credit automatically in 14 days? It states to allow 14 days to credit but I was wondering if anyone every had problems with it crediting? I hate contacting SB unless I have to but it seems like a good offer for my son to try it out.
