To clear up confusion, for in store purchases your RedCard discount would not apply if you are paying with gift cards, only on whatever your gift card didn't cover. For example if you bought a $100 gift card and say used $95 in gift cards you'd get your discount off the remaining balance. But if you used $100 for $100 you wouldn't get anything at all.

Before the recent changes my local Target allowed the in store RedCard discount on the whole gift card purchase. But yes, this is the current policy.

Here you can see a screenshot of my shop and earn which shows purchase dates and payout dates. (Ebates makes you wait til the end of the quarter.)

As far as Amazon purchases go it has to be the right category for Swagbucks (or Ebates) to give you a rebate. Nothing I buy on Amazon ever seems to qualify.

I've gotten to the point where I click for an audio reading for these.

TWICE today I completed surveys only to be disqualified when I clicked submit!!! Grrrr!!! The first one I let go but I sent a ticket for the second. I couldn't remember how much it was for. It was either 49 or 100. I gave them the survey number so will see what I get, if anything. No screen shot because it was PL and it just shows 1sb w no number. Makes me so mad

I just compare percentages. If one is higher (4 swagbucks per dollar vs. 2 percent cash back), I go with the higher. If they are the same, I have been going with SB because once it was credited, I could use the target gc to get a Disney gc. I am rethinking my plan now, though. I might start choosing it based on timing. I hate those first orders after an Ebates payment because I know it will be months before it gets paid out.

I agree... my next ebates check is Nov so hoping to get a good deal in before then or else it is swagbucks.

Surveys drive me batty. They ask for too much personal info, take more time than they say, and are too unreliable when it comes to points. That's been my experience anyway,. Good luck with your ticket!
