Those using swagbucks ???

On some of the mobile apps, when certain ads begin playing, it causes the volume on my iPad to turn on by itself. So I'm continually having to mute the sound and it makes me crazy! Anyone else experience this? Any ideas on a solution?

My only suggestion, which I read on this thread, would be to plug in headphones. That way if they turn the sound up on you, you'll never be disturbed. Especially helpful if you ever run the apps while sleeping.

Not so budget day getting a new phone. Ultimately was the processor not the sim card. Wondering if running the apps so much is partly to blame. Luckily the phone still works on wifi so I will use it for sb apps and not the new phone. It is an LG G3 which I will have had 2 years in August.

Ugh, that's not good. :sad2: Well, at least you have a SB phone now!

Looks like I might actually make second goal today. Completed 1 PL Survey and 1 Gold Survey. 20+ rounds of LTG and still going strong and some bonus rounds on the AP. Hope you all have a great Friday!!

Mine has done this and on my phone. The way I found to stop it is to flip the switch on the side of the phone and ipad. The phone switch makes it go to vibrate and on the ipad it makes the keys silent when you type and turns the volume off on apps.

The past few days, I've been finding 1 5 sb ncrave a day! Wish it was more, but I'll still take it! Still no TTG for me....and I rarely see LTG. But, so far I've hit goal every day this week, so I'm not crying about it!

Ugh. The mobile strike ad on the sbtv app is such a pain. The "X" works for me 5% of the time. I keep having to close the app.
I keep getting the mobile strike ad too, but I can usually to get it to close by hitting the corner of the X "box", just outside the circle (lower right side of the X), which seems to be about a fingernail in width. If I hit it there, I can usually get it to close on the first try (for that round of the ad).

I did not make 1st goal the last 5 days, but I had a great time at Disney :)

The X was easier for me to hit today than yesterday.

Glad you had a great time in Disney!

Got a couple of Lifescript offer to credit just now, so I figured I'd share with you guys.

05/13/16 Special Offer: PL: Register to receive your FREE hair care sample 38 SB
05/13/16 Special Offer: PL: Register to receive your FREE summer BBQ sampl 38 SB

I did these in Chrome with a clear history between each. I find I am successful with LS when I watch the FB page to see which offers are crediting for others. If someone posts a LS offer that credited for them, I'll try it. If that one doesn't work, I'll usually try several others that are listed for the same amount of SB. I find that when they do credit, you can usually get multiple offers to credit if they are for the same amount of SB. I always use Chrome with a clear history between each offer.

How long does it typically take for SB "shop" orders to hit your account? I ordered flowers for a sick co-worker through Swagbucks yesterday and it qualified me for 900-something SB. It shows in my visited store tab, but nothing is on "pending" yet. And it certainly hasn't hit. JUst trying to figure out at what point I need to contact them for the credit or if it takes a handful of days.

I usually give it a week to show up in pending. If doesn't show up, I submit a ticket. They usually pay the SB earned then.

Gah...finally got around to selling my Wen products on ebay. I ended up just selling the kit as is. Woke up to a scathing message from the buyer stating that she didn't get what she ordered. She expected 2 bottles of sweet almond mint cleansing conditioner. My auction photo shows sweet almond mint and orange blossom. I also listed out in the auction details what was included - (1) sweet almond mint & (1) orange blossom. I responded to her with that info. Hopefully she just goes away. Ebay can be so unfair to sellers in situations like this.

Nobody has reading comprehension skills any more. Even worse that they didn't look at the photo.

I'm sorry you got punished for other's laziness/stupidity.

Here's how I use Swagbucks to work for me - - - I have earned $384.06 in SB in the past 4 months! I make sure everyday to meet at least the lower daily goal, as long as you meet it, you will earn an extra 300 SB per month, plus bonus points. In fact for the month of April I earned $8.79 in just bonus points. I do the daily poll, NOSO, eCrave, plus watch for SwagCodes, I installed the search on my computer so I can earn Search & Win SB. I also do surveys to meet my goal quick, since I don't have a lot of time because I work 12 hours a day. I probably only spend about an hour each day on SB. I got my sister to sign up also so I get 10% of all the SB she earns as well. I always participate in the Swag-O boards or any other special point earning games they offer. I don't usually do SBTV or any of the video earning unless I just need a few more SB to meet my daily goal.

I cash out a $25 gift card to Sam's for $22 SB points at the first of each month, then I go to Sam's to buy a $150 Disney gift card for $142.98 minus the $25 gift card & the $3 free SB so in the end I pay $114.98 for the $150 Disney gift card. I cash out all of my other SB with Paypal so I can deposit the money right into my Disney Fund Bank Account. Also, from April-June if you use your Chase Freedom Visa Card, they are offering 5% cash back on all Sam's purchases, so that will be another great bonus for me since that's where I buy all my Disney GC's! Because who doesn't love free money??

We are going on our 4th trip in 5 years to WDW in July all fully paid for by doing surveys on various sites, credit card cash back, ebates, Saving Star, Ibotta, Disney Visa card rewards, etc. We have never once paid for any of these trips out of pocket from our paychecks. Our money is very tight, but I love Disney and am determined for my family to go as often as I can earn the money to pay for it, so I work hard taking every money making opportunity I can find to get us there. We haven't stayed in a Value Resort before, we have always stayed in the Moderates, but in July we are staying in a Deluxe! I am so excited about reaching that goal !

63 days and counting til our next trip . . . .

For those who sold their Proacativ purchase on ebay, how did you ship it (first class, priority) and in what (box, envelope)?

I'm planning to list mine tomorrow, listing them individually, and thought I would wrap them in bubble wrap and ship them first class in a padded envelope. Does that seem sufficient? Or, I could hold off listing them until I could find some small boxes for first class. The smallest priority box is $6.80.

Thanks!

Amazing! So how much do you average a month among all your rewards on other sites combined? Can you recommend any good ones? I'm guessing you're making several thousand per year doing all of this in order to afford these Disney trips. Good for you!

It worked! One less annoyance to deal with now. Thanks so much for posting this!

I didn't know this about the iPad button. Glad to learn something else that will work. Thanks for your reply!

I have a question for those of you who have done the Audible deal. It says the email must be the same as my Swagbucks email. My Amazon account is under a different email. Do I need to switch it or will it work? I really don't want my Amazon under that email. Thanks
