Those using swagbucks ???

So....I'm kind of doing this "SB game" with myself. In August we are taking a 3 day roadtrip to Gatlinburg and my goal is to pay for the entire trip (except our cabin) with SB gift cards. I already have enough restaurant GC's to cover our food and I have cashed out a gas GC for the gas. The only thing stumping me is how I could somehow use SB GC's to pay for our attraction tickets like Ripleys Aquarium, etc. Our 4 attractions come to $94.54 per person and 2 of them can be bought online (Ripley's), 1 from Groupon, and 1 at the gate so I'll prob have to pay cash for that one at least.

Is there some way to finaggle around and be able to buy these tickets from free Sb GC's? The virtual visa doesn't seem like an option because like....if you have a $25 virtual visa that wont cover a $29.01 Ripleys ticket. If you have a $50 virtual visa and buy the Ripleys ticket then you have a balance of $20.99 thats not enough to cover the 2nd Ripleys ticket.

If I get the Walmart cards, can I go into the store and purchase a prepaid visa card with those? Maybe like a $100 visa card? That way I would have a physical card in hand and I can always use the balance on that.
Could you cash out for a Paypal Cash card? That puts the balance in your Paypal acct and then you can put that into your checking acct.

Just cash in for paypal and transfer the funds into your bank account.

This is why I love the DIS. I've spent hours trying to figure out how to do this and you both knew exactly what to do! Thank you so much!!

I always cash out for a GC once a month because they're discounted to 2200 SB for a $25 GC on your first redemption. Any other redemptions are for PayPal because it's the same price for $25 PayPal as it is for a $25 GC.

I got a super quick 50SB survey this morning. It was all about cat food. I don't have a cat and answered all the questions honestly including, "How often do you buy cat food" Me: never
Good old Swagbucks: disqualifies me all the time, except when I really am not qualified.

I may have to take a break today and forget about even trying for the first goal...no LTG, no TTG, no ngage, no ncraves and apps are locking up. It's great that goals are lower still but there is just so little to work with. Anyone having that kind of SB day?

Normally I can get my goal with at least 1 survey and the rest videos, ncraves, but I haven't been having much luck. You might look under the discover offers. I found one for 50 SB for signing up for Zulily. I used one of my other emails and got the credit within a few minutes. Yesterday I found one for insurance quotes for 56.

I got lucky with a couple of 50 SB surveys. One for TP and one for luxury cars. They were both really short - maybe 10 easy questions. Hopefully someone else has them!

yes!! For like 2-3 days now. Over it!!

A good offer from trial pay: RewardsTV - it's from Nielsen for 87SB. Rewards in about 10-20 minutes.

There was an offer for "Unlimited" Swagbucks in my inbox. Get 1 SB for watching at least 45 seconds of a video. Repeat over & over.

Evidently, SB's definition of "Unlimited" is precisely 40.

I had that offer too--as far as I can tell your unlimited is 39 more than mine.

I need some advice!
Via SB I've been offered a long term internet data use study. It requires installing a device on our router to collect info on all the web activity in our home. They say they collect no personal data.
Reward is $25 for installing it, then $25 for doing a profile and $10 a month for every month it's on.
My husband is out of town on business so I can't hash this out with him; my college-aged son doesn't trust that our info will be protected/ private. I'm torn.

Nope. I wouldn't do it, but I'm someone who doesn't like big brother watching me of having my every move tracked. Ever have to verify yourself on a credit application and answer those questions that make you go "how did they know I was related to THAT person?"......this is why. Regardless of if your personal data is protected or not, do you really want some company tracking your every move online? Then likely selling it to marketers or government agencies?

As silly as it sounds, things like this can be used against you if you are ever somehow involved in a criminal charge or court battle. Its just not worth it to me.
Too many easy ways to earn SB without subjecting so much information about your household.

I would not do it either but I am married to an IT guy who worries about internet security and would never allow me to install something like that as he'd never trust it.

Just cash in for paypal and transfer the funds into your bank account.
...and then get the PayPal debit card. It draws funds out of your PayPal account and you use it like a regular MasterCard. You even earn 1% back every time you make a purchase with it when you run it it as a "credit" (i.e. you sign for it instead of enter a PIN). I have all of my rewards programs (EBates, SB, TCB, etc) deposited into my PayPal account and I use it only for vacations. That way, it is very flexible. I can use it for gas, groceries, hotels...even get cash from an ATM.

Can you tell me how to get the debit card for PayPal? Is it only for the business accounts? I can't seem to find it on a regular PayPal.

You know....I'm not sure. I've had the card since 2011. It does say "Business Debit" on it, but I don't know that I have a PayPal "business" account. I think I've sold exactly 3 things on eBay in the last 10 years so I don't know why my account would be a "business". I don't have a small business or anything like that either so I'm not sure.

I went to my PayPal page and on the left, it specifically says "Upgrade to a Business Account" so I know that I do not have a business account...but the debit card specifically says "PayPal Business Debit Card"...so I have no idea.

Try this page... https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/debit-card

It does mention fees, but in all the years I've had the card, the only time I have paid a fee was when I used it to withdraw cash at an ATM. There have never been any other fees involved. I really only use the card for vacation expenses so it is certainly not an "everyday" card for me.

Thanks for your input. I decided you are both right. Every time I've gotten a higher paying offer on SB it's been a good experience, so I think I got excited by the potential reward. But in the grand scheme it's not worth the risk.

I'm a bit disappointed it's a swagup for your birthday and not just straight points. I'll redeem before it expires but it used to be straight points.
