Those using swagbucks ???

I've been trying to read through various posts on how to maximize the number of points one can earn, but I"m confused.

I've been watching an entertainment video (actually is entertaining) for about 15 minutes now and its still going. At completion, I will earn 2 Swagbucks. At this rate, I will earn about 8 points an hour.

I looked through the coupons and could see myself printing a few here and there.

What am I missing? I really only want a $25 Landry's card to supplement my the other gift card that I earned through credit card points

Where are you watching the video? It would help to know what section you are in or if you are on an app.

I rarely do any watch list under 3 sb and I won't do any that are more than 20 minutes unless i really need points. That's just me, I know others that don't do the longer one's. You don't need to watch the entire video, just until the check mark appears in the corner then you click on the next video. It just wants the add to play, so it's generally 30-60 seconds before a check will appear. You also don't have to have the window active, no one actually watches the videos.

I know someone talked about this 100 or so pages back, but I can't find it. What do I do when my apps keep crashing? I have had the normal ad problems, but now when I open SBTV, it crashes and umps me out before even finishing a video. THanks!

I just read the email about this and am wondering what it means. I really only get points from the emails and the rare occasion when the points are better when shopping through them. I think I have enough for a $50 gc, which is what I was waiting to redeem for. It's been over a year and probably 2 since I even redeemed for a gc from them. I stopped doing the survey's when other sites were better and I qualified for more other places. I think I'll see if I can redeem and then get out of the mypoints game, or at least stick with the points for emails until we hear otherwise. I won't accumulate much that way anyway

ETA I'm at 6658 with 24 pending from etsy. I need at least 6800 for a 50 at Macy's, which in the past was always the best value. I guess I'll stick it out until I hit that number.

I do the Landrys card so I can use them at T-rex. I have accumulate $100 worth over the past year. (and also a $25 cheesecake factory). I got lucky as I booked my daughter a hotel stay at Holiday inn and for some odd reason, even though I didn't go in through Mypoints it credited there and I got some mega points on it.

I have a weekend away coming up, so the Cheesecake factory one is going to be put to good use and a T-rex ADR in Oct. I love that place and can't wait to pig out there.

That is strange indeed. I currently have 90 reward options on mypoints, of which Macy's is one option. I wonder why they would do different rewards for different people. Seems odd.

Clear the cache for the app. If that doesn't work, you might have to do a uninstall of the app and re-download.

Ty, for some reason I can't find the movie clips or SBTV, let alone get 10 point anything's, lol. I guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing, lol.

You can also run Swagosaurus Run 10 times to get 10 SB each day. (under games) You don't have to play, just hit new game and let it run off a cliff. Wait 30 seconds or so and play again (it rewards 2 SB every other play)

An update to my post a couple days ago. My primary goal is to get 30,000 SB to pay for my wife & my tickets to Epcot and MNSSHP when we go in Sep. My secondary goal is to earn 50,000 SB to also get my Mom's tickets to the same venues. The plan is to cash out with a $250 Walmart card, 2 $100 & 1 $50 Sam's Club Cards. Then I can get the $500 Disney gift card for $474.95. I have to do it like this for 2 reasons. Sam's cards on SB only go to $100 and you can only enter up to 4 gift cards on Sam's online. So I started this quest on the 16th. As of this posting I have over 8300 SB. I am also owed 2030 SB from the GSN promotion that takes 7 days to credit. I did buy the Birchbox, Dollar Shave Club, and GSN deals but that is only $23 for 4530 SB. I look as it as putting that money I spent away for the trip and also getting a return on it, as we get anywhere from 50 to 100 return on the investment, plus some products we use anyway. So after 7 days my true total is over 10000 SB. I am able to spend a little extra time doing surveys and I am running the apps all day on 2 devices, but I am in college online but off for summer so I have a little extra time but still take time for errands, chores outside, and taking my Dad to his doctor's visits. So if I can keep up this pace, I should easily reach my goal. Updates will continue.

Here's another update on my SB quest, without a reply to those who have continued to tell me in this thread to cash out now. Sitting on 19,100 with 4,500 pending. Cashing out at $250 then building back up to 10,000 twice and then earn enough for a $25. All this while I listen to Kenny Loggins on the radio with "Danger Zone".

Does anyone else have trouble with the games? I do SB on my laptop, & while a window does open when I click "play" .... it just does the twirly loading thing. Never actually loads. I disabled Adblock for this site & I did update my Flash player. Frustrating that I'm missing out on 10 points a day!

Mine load very slow sometimes. And sometimes not at all. Sometes I have to click out and click on them again to get them to work

They are a pain. I always go back to the main page after each game. That seems faster than hitting play again. And yes about once every five or ten times you can't click on it to start a new game.

Not very many rounds from LTG, my 4sb ncraves won't advance and my watch lists won't advance on their own. At least I have sbtv bonus rounds. I think this will be a low day to help get my 2nd goal back down around 360.

Putting the "danger" aside, I would still cash out one $25 WalMart card each month. You can get that at a discount of 2200. That sale helps your earnings go a bit farther.

I would never let the balance get that high. You will save at cashing out at $25 for 2200 for the first one each month. I think the highest I ever let it get is $50 and it made me nervous. $25 even makes me nervous. Unless you are doing a lot of high offers, I think earning that much before Sept is not going to happen. Of course every bit you earn makes it that much better.
