Those using swagbucks ???

Today is my one year Swagbucks anniversary. Last year around this time someone started a new Swagbucks thread about their success so I decided to give it a try. I had just booked a 7 day Disney cruise and my initial goal was to pay for the photo disc ($350). I'm stuck at a conference in DC so I decided to see how I'd done in the past year.

In one year I earned 129,000 sb and used those to get $300 in Target gift cards and $1,025 in PayPal gift cards. I also got $50 for a survey I qualified for in SB but was paid outside. I used my earnings to buy $1,600 in Disney gift cards which will cover my photo disc, excursions, tips, souvenirs, and a deposit for my next cruise.

My breakdown was:

26% surveys
25% apps
15% special offers (TTG, LTG, etc.)
10% watch (rarely do this anymore)
9% bonus (mainly monthly bonus)
7% ncraves (only started using in January)
8% other

Anyway thanks to all who helped me along the way.

Not to sound too corny, but that is literally inspiring! I've been swagging since October 2014 and only have 77,000 lifetime, though I did take a 3 month break after our wedding last year. I've slowed down a lot lately with the new job and won't even get the two week bonus this month, I need to up my game! I do qualify for a good amount of the surveys, but I think it helps to have children for many of them, which I don't.

I think the main think which helps me is I'm on the stairmaster from 4-5:30 every morning at my house so I throw my laptop on the reading rack and my iPhone on top of it. It's kind of an odd set up but I usually have 200 sb before leaving for work at 7.

I thought I was the only one who did this...lol. Although I do not make close to what you do. Any tips...are you just running the apps during this time?

My biggest setback is not having unlimited data on my internet at home. So no running nCraves, Watch, etc. there. I was running nCraves on my computer at my last job and haven't tried it at the new job yet.

Is there a reason you only did $300 in Target? I would think you'd get more bang for your buck getting the 5% discount with a RedCard, but didn't know if there was a particular reason you did this.
I use my PayPal money to buy target gift cards at Kroger (indirectly--it goes toward my Amex bill). So I get $100 in Target gift cards for about $86.

Ah, that's right. Makes sense.

I get the first $25 gift card of the month for Target at 2200 SB, but then everything else is in cash through Paypal. I have over $300 I have earned from SB sitting in an account waiting for a really good gift card discount or other discounts (sales on park tickets, etc.). And when I find them, I can just jump right on the deal without worrying how I am going to pay for it.

Congrats!! I just started 3.5 weeks ago, and was pushed to join by one of your posts saying what you had saved for your cruise in a year! I'm almost at $75 earned for these 3.5 weeks. I got one Amazon.ca gift card for 2250. I'll do those once a month and save them for Christmas. Everything else is going straight to paypal for our trip to the Canadian Rockies that we hope to take next summer. The flights from where we live are upwards of $750 per person and this is really going to help with that if I keep it up :)

Anyone else having an issue with the coupon offer today? The one for 16sb? I have tried it 3 times and it still won't credit!

Another easy one - Dollar Shave Club. Sign up for the $1 a month (plus $2 shipping) and get 1000sb. If you stay for 3 months you get an extra 1500. I did it and it credited immediately. I dont think I will do the 3 months since I'll probably forget to cancel. But I wonder if the 3 months is after the first month (the one that gives you 1000) so a total of 4 months or if it is really 3 months starting from this first box.

I finally put in a ticket for that indiegogo thing and got my 750 SB credited right away!! :cool1: Makes me feel better after doing an entire 60SB survey only to have it roll back around to the beginning- never got a chance to even take a pic of the "you completed this" thing. Grrr.

The 1,500 sb may not credit until 30 days after 3 month membership tenure. And swagbucks may be revoked for memberships cancelled within 30 days.

Just trying to figure out when you cancel. After the 1500 sb has credited??? Or after your 3 month membership tenure, if you cancel will you still get the 1500 sb?

I do not wait until offers credit to cancel. The original 1000 it is for the first shipment so once I paid the $3 I am good - for these offers I wait until the item arrives to cancel and that is usually before the 30 days. From the disclaimer it looks like it would be 3 months total (including the original order date) so 3 shipments. The 30 day wait is if it does not credit right at the 3 month mark, then dont contact them for another 30 days ;)
