New to Sawgbucks!! Trying to get some extra $$ for a trip we are planning for June 2017. So I have a few questions so bear with me. Is the swag button an ok thing to add? Any good tips to get me started??
I have done erewards for quite a while and used to do Inbox Dollars.
I consider the Swag Button to be a form of spyware, so I don't have it installed on my main computer. However, I have an older laptop that I only use for rewards programs. I have the Swag button installed on it. It's safe to install, I just don't like having a program on my browser that can potentially follow my every move.
I recommend installing all of the apps on a smart device (iPod Touch, old iPhone, or iPad, or Android device). Run them during the day for a total of 60 SB and perhaps more if you get any bonus rounds. Add a short video to your favorites in each of those apps and run it repeatedly in order to get through them more quickly. Search this thread for suggested videos.
I have the search button on one of my browsers and I use it to earn search points through that browser. I do not have it set as my default search and once I get my morning search points, I go back to using my preferred search method.
I also run videos on the website for credits. You'll see references to LTG, TTG and Blue Men as well as NCrave and NGage throughout this thread. You earn 2-3 SB for each series of videos run through those links on the SB website.
There are also surveys that will earn you larger amounts of SB, but they can take a lot of time and will not credit if you are disqualified. I tend to attempt them only if I'm close to reaching my second goal for the day and I want to finish up.
Don't forget to do the easy points. Those would be the Daily Poll, Daily Crave and the Daily NOSO, as well as playing Swagasaurus 10 times for 10 SB (look for it under Play and let that little dino run himself over the first cliff each time).
I tend to run the Watch videos to make the remainder of my points. They run all day on my extra laptop and you can earn a maximum of 500 points per day this way. I never reach the maximum.
You will want to hit your first goal every day. There are two daily goals and each one will award bonus points for reaching them. In addition, you will earn a bonus for hitting your first goal for 7, 14, 21 straight days, or the whole month. The daily bonus points and streak bonus points are awarded at the beginning of the next month.
There's a lot more to the program, but it's probably better if you just start slowly and get comfortable with how it works. Trying to jump in and do "everything" right at the start can be confusing. Good luck!
