Deal of the Day is the Gillette offer for 5500 sb. I did Gillette back in 2017 but was targeted for a "do it again!" offer a few months back that I totally flaked on and didn't do it. Kinda glad I did as I was able to snag this offer instead this morning. A word of caution for those interested in doing it, when I clicked on the banner at the top of the home page today it took me to something like this page

I didn't think much of it and just thought the prices went up so I chose the middle option for $12, selected the subscription option (from a couple of suggestions here, I think) and created a new account just to be sure. I set my frequency for 6 months and I used a VGC to pay that will be drained by the time that rolls around, in case I forget to cancel. Knock on wood, tracked beautifully as before and I've got my sb pending until 3/3. But then I wondered how this was a $48 money maker so for giggles and kicks I tried to start over and got these options

I consistently get these options if I open the offer link incognito but if I try it in my regular window I mostly get the higher Skinguard option that I ultimately bought. I make no recommendations on how to proceed here In theory if you sign into SB in the incognito window and go from there it should track like normal. Out of an abundance of caution I'm not sure that I would open just the offer incognito, even though it should technically work, just because Gillette seems very hit or miss on tracking for some folks. That said if you get good screenshots during the signup that show you used the offer link, it might be helpful to get credit later if it doesn't. But we're all adults, I just thought I'd put out all the info so y'all can decide for yourselves how to partake. Personally, I'm still ok with making $42 profit

I am looking for some getting started help - does anyone have some top 5 or so tips for a beginner? I have looked through this thread but a lot is confusing for a beginner! Ugh. Both times I've done it, well actually 3 when I count hubby's account, the pending line showed up right away in the activity ledger. We used two different browsers too, I know he used FF as he was at work and that's their browser, and I just used Edge now but can't remember if I used FF or Edge the first time. Have you asked your DH if he adjusted any of the tracking settings in the browsers at all? I think you've said he's an IT guy and they sometimes like to futz with stuff depending on their specialty. I know there can be some hidden settings for turning on and off 3rd party cookie and ad tracking, so even if you're not using a separate ad blocker something else built into the browser could be turned on, but haven't looked into it in a long while to know what's still relevant.

This sounds like a totally bogus answer, but when just starting out, everything is a must do. Everyone is going to have a slightly different outcome - some people gets lots of surveys, others can't qualify or get credit to save their life; some people can have the videos run non stop for days while others can't get them at all; Discover offers for email sign ups and what not, and Shopping offers, same deal. You have to try a little of everything to see what's going to work best for you. Also keep checking in on the thread, as we find offers that work we share with the group.
Usually, if you have them, check out the Watch section for the nCrave/Sponsored videos. They are a small point value right now but can be passive (if they actually work today is a bad day for me, they keep freezing on the last step so I get no credit). Knock wood, I have decent luck with free trial sign ups. Also, coupons are popular at the moment. Again small point value but there's an offer on almost every Discover offer wall and you only need to click it to get credit; plus in the Shop section you can get sb for actually printing (or "printing") coupons right from Swagbucks. It credits the next day and they offer promos for more fairly regularly.

My suggestion is to try to complete your To-Do list each day and see what's easy after doing that a few times. Plus if you complete 6 out of the 8 tasks you get a little random amount of sb and if you complete the whole list another small amount (up to 10sb a day I think they said when combined).

Every other time I've cashed out at MP (I've been with MP for years and cashed out many times) I have always gotten my reward instantly. Today was the first time I've cashed out for a VV. Just wondering if the VV normally take longer to process/receive, and about how long. Thanks for any info!

MP tends to pend longer than SB before the gift cards appear. No rhyme or reason. They eventually show up.

I have always gotten my MP rewards instantly as well, and he last two that I have cashed out have taken 24-48 hours to arrive. It’s frustrating wheniknow that previously it arrived immediately.

I have lost my Swagbucks pages - not sure if it is my internet or what - all of a sudden the nCraves quit, mobile aps quit, watch videos quit. (connection timed out message) Restarted my computer, tried different browsers, nothing. And I was going to hit my second goal tonight. Oh well.

Hope they are back tomorrow since it is the last day of the month and I'll lose the monthly bonus if not.

All my rewards for SB or MP take about 4 days. MP always takes a day or so longer than SB for me.

nCrave. If you're new, you should have plenty of videos that loop on its own (like the one with the dog). Let it run on PC throughout the night and you are half done reaching daily goal. Try to complete the daily to do list (left panel). Download the SG related apps (search here) and play video. SwagIQ (trivia) nightly. Answer app / surveys on website. Couple bucks here and there and they add up. Esp if you can pass the daily goal. Swag Go when it happens.

I’ve been banned from PL. all I did was try a few surveys will traveling and using hotel WiFi. Not a huge loss. Kind of lame though.
