Hi all... been to Disney in December many times, and the weather seems to be all over. Packing.. is it chilly at night currently? Jeans/light sweater ok, or too warm?

Honestly it depends on what you are used to. Those used to 4 seasons will feel evening temps very differently from those who live in a warmer climate all year long. It can also change day to day. Layers are key in the ‘winter’ months in FL.

We were there a couple of years ago and it was in the mid 30’s one evening then the 70’s the following evening.

Looking ahead to the upcoming week, evening/overnight temps are forecasted to be between 68° some evenings and 30° another!! Layers, layers, layers.

Thursday night was downright cold!! Besides a long sleeved shirt, I had two sweatshirts and a vest and was still cold. Last night besides the shirt, I only needed my lighter sweatshirt and I was fine.

A light sweater for me would not have been enough for me ant of the nights this week. I’m from NJ.

Thank you... this is what I was wondering about. I will pack more layers. From NYC, Now NC! NC has been all over the place weather wise lately too... (where hasn't been)?

Me, too. In fact, I arrived the week before and temps in the morning were in the 30’s… I was wearing the winter coat and gloves I brought from NJ!

Between now and Thursday into Friday looks like temps are mid 70s/low 80's during the day and mid 60's at night.
Being from the Great Lakes area that's a typical nice summer day.
Personally I'd likely do jeans, a t-shirt, and a very light jacket/sweater knowing that in December the high is only the high for a couple hours of the day.
You really should be looking at the forecast for yourself though and deciding what's right for you at those temps and you'll want to double check the forecast the night before just to make sure you don't need to make any adjustments.

We were at Christmas processional. My DH has shirt, sweatshirt, jacket and rain poucho (to hold body heat in) over everything, with two hot hands pouches in each jacket pocket. He was always cold. One of the issues of using a scooter, you don't build up body heat from walking. Plus we were sitting at the railing. So sitting for over an hour. Got there early , sat for 30 mins and then the performance.

One more thing - the humidity can make it feel colder than it would in areas of low humidity at the same temperature. Especially if it’s breezy!
