We are going in April with our three girls (11, 6, and 2mos). Which rides would you take a 2 month old on at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom? Which rides can she NOT go on (excluding obvious ones like the roller coasters lol)? TIA!

She can go on any ride that doesn't have a height requirement plain and simple.

Would she be okay on rides like the Haunted Mansion? My DH swears it spins and jerks too much for her to ride on, but I don't remember it doing all that lol..then again its been about 5yrs since I went last.

It doesn't spin or jerk! The car turns so you can see different angles but it doesn't turn. She would be fine. She will be fine on anything without a height requirement. I haven't been on TSM and some say that jerks, but quite honestly a 2 month old you will be holding close to your body so I can't see how it would be any jerkier than the tram or a city bus or the monorail at the airport all of which I have had 2 month old on. Heck a stroller on a bumpy surface can be as rough as Disney rides without a height requirement!

I wouldn't take your infant on TSM or Kilimanjaro Safaris. TSM does spin and is jerky, even holding her close & tight, I personally wouldn't do it. And the safari is very bumpy, so that I had to grab on to the hand rail in front a few times.

Here's a list of others you can go on.

I took our 2.5 month old a year and half ago. I wore him in a sling pretty much the entire time (on and off the rides). The only time I got a little worried about him was the Astro Orbiter...The ride was fine, but trying to get in the rocket was VERY difficult with him in a sling. We rode everything else though...including the Kilamajaro Safari (in a sling, he was secure).

I don't know why you wouldn't take a baby on the safari? You just ride in trucks and seriously it isn't any bumpier than the roads in the northeast in the spring!!!

I think the list of what you can't take the baby would be easier and it truly is only 2 handsful

I can understand astro orbiter, that can be a trip to climb into and then with a baby, getting out must have been fun also. Ride is perfectly calm but climbing in and out, LOL

I wouldn't take a baby on Astro Orbiter. Even I get motion sick on it; it circles around very fast.

These may be obvious, :confused3but I personally wouldn't take a baby on the teacups (spinning), Indy Speedway (overzealous yound drivers), or Toy Story Mania (jerky movement when car spins). I would also avoid the Tiki Room (so loud!). I feel like there are some other loud shows that might not be good, but they're eluding me at the moment....

We were down in January and our youngest was 10 weeks. We did anything that didn't have a height requirement including TSM. He was in my sling and was perfectly secure. My score wasn't all that great . . . lol
