Those "quiet" pools aren't always quiet

Woohoo!! Ty all for your kind responses to our DD. I'm going to show this to DH. This means I'm right again!! ;) :D :p ;) :D :p

Just to chirp in--not against "normal" pool behavior at all. You're there to have fun, after all. But I hope all would agree that what I described goes WAY beyond acceptable. Those signs warning about running and diving are there for a good reason. And footballs are best left to the football field. And no matter who's doing it and no matter what a hoot it is to the families, throwing food in a pool where I'm swimming ain't nice!!!

When we were at the BC in early February, there were a few teens with a boombox. They obviously didn't care how loudly it was playing. There was another family there with their small child napping in the shade. It was so loud, the mother had to leave the pool and take her inside.

It's not just kids though. There were grown adults at the "quiet pool" at the GF who brought out their laptop to listen to a CD. It was loud enough that several people had to move.

This is still WDW and kids are welcome everywhere. I just think that the "quiet pools" are still designed for "quieter" activities. I would think loud radios, that sort of thing, are inappropriate.
