those of you who booked a cruise using points....

my sister booked directly thru DCL already has her cruise docs for our 5/3 cruise. I was surprised because I thought they don't arrive until a couple of weeks ahead.
How far ahead of departure did you receive your docs when cruising on points?
Does MS get them first then send them on to us?

This same thing happened to me and I called DCL. They sent me to DVC who told me they send the documents out 10 to 14 days before sailing. I know from experience that through DCL they come sooner than that. They couldn't tell me why there was a difference or even admit that there was one. But here is another example of Disney taking us for granted and treating us differently.

I have to jump on this bandwagon. We are cruising on points on May 15th. We are now 44 days out and haven't received the information on excursions and such that everyone on the Cruise Board says I should have received at least 60 days out. I have both emailed and called about this and still haven't received anything. Luckily we are probably not going on an excursions. But now I am getting really worried about the documents arriving before we leave. I do kind of feel like a 2nd class citizen.

We received our docs about 13 days before. This was after I had called DVC (had not been sent yet) and DCL (a week later) so I knew when I could expect them.

We DID get our excusion info prior to the 60 day mark.

It was just about 2 1/2 weeks before our trip that our documents finally arrived. It can't hurt to call MS and they can give you a date as to when to expect your documents.

I am cruising on 5/22 and obviously have yet to receive my documents, but I did receive my excursion information about 70 days out so I could review and book at the 60 day window. I made my reservations and just yesterday I received my confirmation from DCL for my excursions. Now that I think of it, I got the excursion info sent to me twice. Go figure, so people don't get any info and here I am getting it in duplication....

Ok, I'm calling again today. We are only 44 days out and have not received anything except the confirmation right after we made the reservation. I would at least like to look over the excursion info. I've even been kicking around reserving the parasailing at CC for a surprise for my husband.

I just reserved the parasailing for myself when we go to CC. I was shocked, I must have been the first person to call because I could choose anytime that I wanted for parasailing. They caught me off-guard. I ended up choosing 10am, figuring it would give me enough time to get off the ship and I should be finished before lunch to rejoin my family.

I also reserved floats just to be on the safe side .
