We debated for a long time about which tent to buy. We love beach camping and the Coleman Red Canyon we bought lasted exactly two nights. The wind was really rough on it. I liked the REd Canyon, but the slope of the tent made the 2ft on each end really useless except for gear, which shouldn't touch the sides of the tent anyway.
So we researched Eurekas to death for weeks. You really have to consider your needs and what kind of camping you'll be doing, and while we REALLY wanted a Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 or 1312 for FW, it is just too large for our other camping needs. So we settled on the Eureka Sunrise 11, although I wanted a Eureka Twister for beach/river camping and a Copper Canyon for FW.
Out of the budget though. We will be getting a second tent before our December trip though, and we'll probably get another Sunrise 11 or something similar in size.
Anyway, Amazon is having a big sale on all Eurekas. The Eureka rebate ended a week ago, but Amazon ended up dropping prices even lower than the rebate prices. Just thought I'd pass that along!
