Us, BFF's (best friends forever) have been wanting to do Disneyland together since high school (two years ago) and now $$ and time will finally let us!

I know I still have a bit more than a month to go, I'm too excited to wait!:cool1:

The Cast:
Cristabel, 19:hyper: (me)- Disney Fanatic who just bought a Disneyland Annual Pass this year, guaranteeing many more Disney days! Likes to plan and over plan everything! Oh, and don't forget the map print outs! Favorite characters are Donald, Grumpy and the classic characters such as pinocchio, Mary Poppins, Aristocats etc.

Stephanie, 19:cloud9: - Loves Disney, too. Is very low key and relaxed about Disneyland which works well with my over planning. Favorite characters are pooh, Max (from a Goofy Movie), and Goofy.

I'm planning on planning where to eat but I need to take into consideration our poor college kids funds and Steph's food picky-ness. I'll be posting pictures of us (or maybe just me cause Steph's has camerahate:rolleyes:) and some cute clothes I've bought from the Disney Store ($4.99 a shirt!)

Up next:
Who the heck are these crazy grrrrls? and an itinerary!

How exciting!! I just bought a AP in Feb and have been going with my sis and her son about once a month and I love it!! I wasn't a Disney fan until I joined the DIS Boards..maybe I'll post some of my pics the next time I go..looking forward to your trip report!!

At the end of each year for oh, about 3 years now I regret not getting the pass because I end up going 6-7 times throughout the year:rolleyes: Well now I know, since we have the DL Girls' Only trip on the DIS plus several in may, I'll be getting the most Mickey for my money :goodvibes

I like, I like. So far, so good. :goodvibes I completely sympathize with the poor college kid funds. I'm paying for half my trip in Sept. and it ain't cheep. Can't wait for more:thumbsup2

Once again:
Cristabel (me) aka Crista, Baldy, Jamba (all lovely family nicknames)

I just love the face I'm making, especially since I'm at work!

Or this one! I'm a muppet!
Stephanie aka Steph, Shredduh

Steph's hair isn't really like that. She's wearing an awesome wig and of course the massive sunglasses (but I have some too & we lovelovelove them:lovestruc ).
We also lovelovelove Disney. It's our happy place.

Itinerary
aka The Planner's Bible

Departure
Friday May 9th, 2008
DL Park hours 9am-12am

7:00a - Departure!

*I'm giving myself enough time to stop at my local Starbucks for a nice zap of caffeine before our journey. Usually traffic isn't so bad Friday mornings compared to Monday mornings (big mistake last June!:headache: but that's a story for another time).

8:30 - Be at the front Gates
* Casually walk down Main St. until rope drop

9:00 - head straight for Tomorrowland
* Work our way counter-clockwise. I've never done this before, usually we do Adventureland first.

Breakfast (9:30am) - Tomorrowland Terrace

Lunch (1:30pm) - Plaza Inn

shop on Mainstreet (2:30p) - it's nice to avoid the last-minute crowds and it's a break from waiting in lines.

Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams - 3:30 (maybe)

Dinner (5:30pm) - Somewhere in Adventureland, I'm thinking River Belle Terrace

9:25p - Remember...Dreams do Come True Fireworks

10:30pm - Head to the Parking Lot
* Grab a Coke or Espresso for the drive home (NEED TO STAY AWAKE:scared:)

11:00pm - On the Road Going Home

Main Goals
* Have Fun
* Take lots and lots of Myspace worthy photos
* Take lots and lots of Character Photos & signatures
* Ride everything at least twice (minus teacups & Star Tours, Steph gets sick)
* Ride the Disneyland Train around the park to relax and power up
* Get dream'd! Even if it means stalking!
* Get there and back safely

Itinerary
We've decided that we're going to Universal on May 10th! We'll drive home from Disneyland on Thursday night and leave early the next morning for Universal. I haven't been in 11 years so I'm excited to see all the changes...but mostly to ride the tram tour again and experience The Revenge of the Mummy!:cool1:

It's ME!:rolleyes1
Sorry readers, (if you're still there!) for not posting anything in a long time. I've been really busy with school and my first DIS meet (check the sig for info). So since our trip is THIS Friday (OMG:goodvibes) I thought it would be best if I updated our trip plans.

On Friday we'll be leaving my house at 6:45am:headache: and hopefully arriving at DLR at 8:15am. I'm planning it this way so we can have 15 minutes for the tram and security checks putting us at the front gates at 8:30ish. We will be there for rope drop! I experienced rope drop for the first time (IN MY LIFE) on the DIS Girl's Only Trip. It was great! I was the first rider on Peter Pan

It was so exciting. So we plan to book it to Fantasyland ride Peter Pan first. And from there I'm a bit stumped.
Either we go to TL and ride BLAB and SM or we go to Adventureland/Frontierland and ride Indy and BTMRR.

Any suggestions, friends?

Anyway, the park is open from 9am-12am! I'm thinking we will take a break sometime throughout the day and go back to the hotel. OH YEAH, we're staying at Travelodge Anaheim International Inn because we're doing DCA on Saturday!:woohoo:I got a decent rate and a $30 dollar rebate for entering a trial membership for Wyndham Rewards (former Trip rewards). So I'm paying less than $20 bucks for my night stay. Which helps since I have to buy a blockout ticket for DCA:sad2:
Back to DL, we'll go to the hotel around 3p-4p and eat, take a nap and/or watch some tv. Then we can head back around 6p. I figure that most of the 10 and under crowd will be gone after 10pm. That's really wishful thinking:wizard:

Now, Saturday we'll be at DCA. I'm SOOOO glad it opens at 10am! More time for us to sleep!:cloud9: I plan to be at DCA at 9:30 so we'll have to leave our hotel at 8:45am. our hotel is 5 minutes from the Mickey and Friend's Parking garage. So we will get there around 8:50am, park about 9am and make it with the tram through security at 9:20am. I'm giving myself enough time because it WILL be a Saturday. I'm so glad we're not doing DL that day. I would be so scurrred:scared1:
