....of new ways to make money! Just got a link to this in my email for our trip next week, and I have to say, I thought it was pretty cool! They might have been doing this for awhile, but it's the first one like this I've gotten for an upcoming trip.

Might just make up for us not getting Haunted Carriage Ride reservations! Just thought I'd share.....

Are you staying in a cabin or campsite? I have never received one of these emails. I wonder if they are just for those with cabin reservations?

TCD

I think it would be pretty funny to order one delivered to a campsite.... only to find that the otters have absconded with all the rice krispie treats, which I hear go great with beer!

I got one of those for our last 2 trips. I think it has something to do with you listing a celebration on your reservation. Not sure about that. Man, everything looked SO CUTE but the prices are of course outrageous.

I think I've read here about people having cakes, etc delivered to campsites. Maybe not.

We're staying in a cabin. I never got an email like this for our July 4th cabin trip, so I assumed this is new. Honestly, I would think they would hold something like this at check-in if you're in a site. Why wouldn't they?? Once we finally get our camper and reserve a site, and I don't get one of these emails, I will be calling with issues!:lmao:

The prices are crazy, but to me, everything WDW is overpriced. I'm one of the suckers that buy into this stuff. I'm also the one at the night parades that turns into a 4 year old when the neon, glow in the dark crap comes out.

No....we didn't list a celebration. I remember them asking me and I said no. I've had flowers delivered to my MIL one year, so I know they deliver to the sites, but not sure to what extent.

When I was a concierge at the GF, guests would sometimes ask me to send stuff from the Floral & Gifts dept. I believe you have to be staying at a resort with rooms so that they can drop it off without worrying about the otters.

I think it has to do with listing a celebration. We stayed at a campsite in August and listed that we were celebrating our anniversary and we got a similar email.

We got this when we did a trip in Feb (cabin), I surprised the DW with a basket where I picked out what I wanted in it, it was cool..... We just got the email the other day about the same thing for our trip in Dec. (camper) and we are going to get my mom and aunt a basket, as it is their first trip together there in a long time. It is cool and nice, plus to see their eyes when they see the basket is worth it. They will go in the cabin and place it, but from what we were told the other day, will not go in a personal camper/tent.

We had flowers delivered for my MIL's birthday one year when we were camping in a site. They left a note on the windshield of the MH that there was a delivery at check in.

That is what they told us. I think I am going to arrange to have them delievered when I am there, so I can slip them in the camper, it as 2 doors, so I can slide them in the rear door and then later go and set the out. Everyone loves surprises. And it is nice they have this service, very handy.

Cute! But $69 worth-of-cute? :scared1:

For that kind of money, I'd rather hop the boat over to the MK and buy my own treats at the Main Street bakery!

Well, then there's the part where that would make a good excuse for an extra trip to the MK ... :rolleyes1

:lmao:Since there are 3 Tweens with us, I was thinking of doing the family gift and letting them share.
