We are scheduled to be driving back to Daytona from the WDW/Seaworld portion of our vacation in the hour or two before tipoff off the NBA finals game next Tues night. How bad is I4 during games? I know for Pistons games, it the highway could get a bit nasty.

If the tip-off is in Orlando, just take the 417 around the east side of Orlando. I-4 does get crazy game night.

I-4 eastbound gets jammed because there is basically only one downtown exit that conveniently services Amway Arena.

So it looks like my options are...leaving from Sea World that night...stay until after tip off (9:00?) when it should get better or take 528 to 417 back to I4. Does that sound right. Maybe that gives us an excuse to stay for some of the late shows at Sea World.

On June 4 the game is being played in LA. Orlando does not have the game until the 9th.
