But due to insufficient funds I'm unable to go and see the show I was supposed to be going to.....but no matter, it means more drinking time with you wonderful people!!

I'm going to be absolutely smashed by the time I get to my other party lol, I'm not the most alcohol tolerant person in the world!!

Me too. I bought my lime green bow today. Its quite small so I hope you see it. I was going to put some lime green ribbon in my hair. but I was not sure if it would annoy me.

i'm going to head down to the market in town on tuesday, there's a craft/haberdashery stall there that sells 5 different green ribbons....all I have to do now is decide which one is closest to lime green, and then purchase the wonderful stuff and make some pretty bows

Still haven't bought my ribbon either, maybe I could wear one of my lime green t-shirts instead? One has Jack Sparrow and the other is a gold Mickey Mouse head on it, both instantly recognisable as a disney mad woman, the lime green just adds something don't ya think? Anyway, am really looking forward to it, especially as for most of today I thought I wasn't going to make it. My DH (now seperated) decided that he had plans on Saturday so wouldn't be babysitting, very convenient. Luckily I have a wonderful friend who has stepped in. Not easy to get sitters for a 2, 5 and 7 year old on short notice ....anyway, main point is that I will be there in lime green with a smile on my face because HE didn't win and I get to still meet you lovely people. Just have my cocktail ready please

Oh no. Same here. My mil was asked to work so she could not look after the kids until 4:00. Luckily my friends daughter who works in a nursery are coming over here to have them until 4:00. Phew we were panicing over the weekend. Its horrible when someone backs out. I know what you mean its hard to find sitters for children we are paying ours until 16:00

Never mind it will be worth it.

I'm really sorry but I won't be able to make it after all We ordered a load of furniture when we moved back and got the phone call today to say it's being delivered on Saturday. Can't really leave DH to cope with that AND 3 kids all on his own.
