Other than walking down the decoration isle in the store I haven't done a thing. lol I did see the coolest snow globe thing though with santa and rudolph inside. It was huge! I think it was bigger than the yard we have here though. I need to win the lottery to have a huge property to decorate for Christmas!

We are staying at Sheraton Safari for 8 nights ( ) and then AKL for 4 nights ( ). I am meeting Aidensmom, so I am excited.

OK - just to let you all know how crazy I REALLY am:

When we moved into our new house three years ago, it had a family room (actually, it still does!). Well, our old house only had a living room. So, we put our Christmas tree and snow villages in the extra room - we had no furniture for it. Since we only go there on weekends, we never got around to taking down the tree or buying furniture that year. Well, guess what? That is now the official Christmas room twelve months a year!

Yes, I light my Christmas tree in July!! It's so cool to turn on the A/C and look at it in the summer!

Now you know the horrible truth about me! (don't tell anyone)

Dang! I thought I was bad with my two real (huge) trees, several faux trees and one village. However, it does sound nice never to pack that village away again. I'd pick my Halloween village over my Snow Village any day. I am even going to insist that we ship it to Egypt. The Christmas village may stay in storage through that tour plus our 2-3 years in Europe.
I have a lot of my Christmas shopping done, though!

I found this out a long time ago...before the end of .... I'm surprised you didn't know. I won't leave for Egypt until Aug-Sep. so it is a long way off. Yes, I will still have the internet. Everything will be fine. I have no idea where in Europe we will move. It is the military, so everything will probably change (not Egypt though).

I think I might move from one part of Queens to another next year - about two miles away!! (and that has my DH nervous!)

Oh well, maybe in my next life.............
