I was just pricing up flights to Malaga and looked at Thomsonfly.
Prices sure have risen for next year, three of us coming out around £450

However what did pee me off was that Thomsonfly have gond down the same road as other LCC and are now starting to charge per case for hold lugagge! £10 per case up to 20kg

This is yet another rip off for holidaymakers who have no other choice but to pay it.

Thomsonfly were still more expensive than the other flights to Malaga anyway, but I won't be using them for this rip off.

I was reading another artical; I think about RyanAir. They said that they were charging for hold luggage to try and get people to reduce the amount they take and to just have cabin bags

Trouble is half the stuff you have in your hold luggage isn't allowed in your cabin bags!

Yes they are,and we paid it,as the flights still came out cheap for us for our holiday to Gran Canaria in November...We was annoyed how we had to pay it though,we did ring and checked is the pushchair included too,but they said that is seperate and doesnt need paying for.:rolleyes1

What is it with us British that allow ourselves to get ripped off like that ???

Incidentally, we always fly to Florida with US based airlines (usually Continental). Much better service, more legrooms, and tons of luggage allowance (its actually 2 bags per person)
