Thomson Holiday Reservation - How to get Disney reservation no. for ADR

I'm booked through Thomson and have their 7 digit res. number.

No one there has a clue what I need when I ask them for another number that the Disney website will accept for ADRs.

My Thomson res number shows up on the Disney website as a confirmed reservation but I think I need a 12 (? ) digit no for ADR.

What part of Disney can give me this? A phone no. or web address would be much appreciated

Phone Disney US directly (reservations department), give them all your details and they will be able to locate your reference number for you. Tell them you need it for ADRs. Thomson, as with many travel agents are travel agents for a whole host of destinations and many don't know much about Disney beyond the basic booking requirements.

Alternatively you can use the contact us link on their website. This will take a few days but either way they should be able to give it to you.

Well I called reservations and they gave me different no. with 8 digits (no letters)

It doesn't seem to work - I thought it should be 12 digits

Try again! Mine has letters and digits and works on US site. I had to ring to get this as I only had the UK disney res number which didn't work.

Sorry to sound thick..........I now have a 12 digit number (no letters) will this work?
Which part of the Disney website can I test it on? (Ican't try making ADRs yet as three days to go till it opens for me!

I had a 12 digit number and a 3 letter +5 digit number (eg ABC12345)
I seem to remember that I could link my res # with my booking before ADR time
Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, the 12 digits one is the American format and it is the one I used last week for my ADRs no problem. The number and letter one also works, so you will have no problem with either.

If you go in the dining reservation bit and click to make a reservation (I know it's too early to really make the adr but bear with me!) a bit pops up to say retrieve reservation. Put in your number and it will retrieve your booking - says where you are staying and your dates so you know your number works.

Hope that makes some sort of sense.

You don't have to use it, but you need it if you want to open up and take advantage of your "180 + 10" privileges.

I seem to have the same problem with the Thomson booking number and I have two questions.

Does anyone know of a cheap way to call the USA in order to get my reservation number?

Once I get the number and I then want to make online ADR from the UK, what time of day does the booking window open for bookings from the uk.
My booking window does not open for a few weeks yet but I have just tried to make a dummy run at making a booking. Each time I try, there does not seem to be any room at the restaurant. This attempt was made at 10AM.
