Just clutching at straws here, but...

If you are in premium economy do you get access to a power supply?

Just thinking that it would be great for DS to be able to use his Nintendo DS for longer than the normal battery lasts for.

Many thanks

I dont think so...we have been looking at upgrading thompson in '12 and no mention of this... to be honest, I dont think any flights would have them. A plane does not have much need for electricity, save a little for the flight controls, entertainment and tail motors.

Dont give up hope yet though. Someone might help you. Have you ever thought of looking into extended batteries etc for the DS? I have a PSP and can swap out the battery in 2 secons, a cheap 3 hr battery is less than a tenner, so i'm just getting 2 of them and charging them both up.

Not sure about the DS though.

I think the battery cover on the DS requires a screwdriver and I don't think they will let me take that on the plane.

I will be using my PSP and will look into buying a separate battery.
