Hello,

I have had a look around other post for the answer to my question but can only find information about the where to get the transfers from...

I was wondering whether anyone had used Thomson's transfers to POP, and therefore could give me some insight on what sort of time you get there and what time it picks you up for your return part of the journey?

Thanks :)

Do they not use Magical Express now for all those staying on site at WDW?

If not, that is always an option for you.

You need to allow at least 2 hours between landing and arriving at your resort, but realistically it could be 3 or more. You need to clear immigration, collect baggage and then make your way to your transfer/DME. In my experience, you are nearly always sat around waiting at least another 30 minutes for more people/stragglers as they will not leave until all the people they are expecting have arrived. It's a 30 minute drive to WDW and it is also likely that Pop Century will not be the only hotel that they drop off at so, unless you are first drop off, that will add extra time to your journey.

For the return to the airport, you are normally picked up 4 hours before your flight.

Thomson use Sanford so no Magical Express I'm afraid.

Have you had your tickets yet?

The transfer details are on there usually.

Thank you for your replies. I completely forgot Id posted which is way my response is so slow - sorry.

We've booked it all through Thomson in store so all it says on our info is hotel transfer, no times etc. I'm sure we'll find out soon though.

Thanks again :)

It's a long time since we've used a travel company transfer but from landing to arrival at resort it was approximately four hours!! We were travelling to POR and the coach dropped off at four resorts before us!

Blimey...its only ever taken us about 1 1/2 hours max, last year it was an hour. But we land at MCO not Sanford. Its never taken us in 19 trips anything like 4 hours!:confused3

Even when we used to book with VH's and got their transfers it was never that bad. Now we use DME and find that excellent.

Using DME our personal time ranges from landing to hotel have been 1.5 hours to 2 hours 15 minutes.
