Hi all,

I was speaking to a firend last night who says a lot of airplanes are now using touch screen controls tv's on their flights now. Just wondering if anyone knows if Thomas Cook Airlines has them on their planes now.

Also I got my tickets yestheday, they look like larger versions of the boarding passes, instead of the paper booklets we use to get. If anyone has travelled with thomas cook lately can they confirm that these are the new style tickets as they look rather odd to me.

Thanks

We are flying with Thomas Cook and are expecting our tickets anyday now :earsboy: so I will let you know.

We have been on planes with touch screen tv's. Not a very good idea particularly if you have an idiot in the seat behind who thinks the harder they touch or bang the screen the quicker the channel changes. Gets quite annoying over 9 hours.

Hi - have just returned from Orlando using Thomas Cook

The aircraft was an A330 Airbus with screens on seat backs - the controls were in the armrest not touch screen.

Worked really well (apart from them ending the in flight movie 'Ray' 5 minutes before the end !)

Was really impressed with Thomas Cook from start to finish - hope you have a same experience.

Hi richardbay14

Did you have the cardboard type flight tickets or is it just me.

Hi,

Sorry - cannot advise on type of tickets you have received - we had paper booklet type issued by Style Holidays (part of Thomas Cook ?).

Lots of changes within travel industry - e-tickets etc - I'm sure you'll be fine.

Have a great time :sunny:

Richard
