Hi!

Has anyone been on TC in the Premium Cabin in the last few months?

I am looking to book Aug 15 2009. I usually fly Virgin Economy so not sure how TC Premium is compared to that with regards to leg room. Cannot find the TC seat pitch for Premium anywhere.

Any reviews?

Thanks Mandy xxxx

I would like to know this too.. we are booked to go April 09, week after Easter.
Was very happy with the price we got with the PE seats, but now Virgin is cheaper (happily not too much) - even though they are the normal seats.

Am trying not to think about it too much!!:rolleyes1

I flew with on Monarch with Thomas Cook Premium seats.

The seats are really comfortable and the legroom is more than enough space for me. My leg from my knee to my hip bone is 47cm and there was space between my knee and the seat in front. :thumbsup2

The Premium Cabin get an extra meal during the flight and drinks are complimentary. (i think tea, coffee, soft drinks are complimentary but i'm not sure about alcohol) :confused3

Each seat has a free pillow, blanket and headset, but i think the rest of the plane get this. Also had a free copy of the Independant and the Telegraph newspapers.

Umm....anything else, just ask. :)

We flew with TC last month in the premium cabin. I can't compare it to Virgin economy as we normally fly Virgin PE.

The legroom was fine. (I'm 5ft 3 DH is 6ft 1) I really missed the lower leg rest.
The seats could have done with a bit more padding as my backside went numb.
We all got pillows and duvets which were of a better standard than those in economy. hing There was no comfort pack thing with socks, toothbrush etc. On boarding we got copies of The Mail and Good Homes and a welcome drink. All tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer, spirits were free. Headphones were free (£2.75 in economy) The cabin crew were very good with frequent drinks services. The food was poor but I'm never impressed with airline food.
All the premium baggage came off first which was a bonus. One thing that really annoyed me on both the outward and return flight was the tannoy announcements about peoples birthdays/anniversary/engagements. On the return we had 6 of these announcements all in the second half of the flight when we were trying to sleep, yes I get grumpy when woken:Mad:
Would we fly with them again? Yes, Its better than the drive to Manchester to catch a Virgin flight and we paid less for 4 of us to fly TC than we paid last year for just the PE upgrade alone.

We flew Thomas Cook Premium seats this August and were really pleased with the service. I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'4 and we found the leg room fine. We enjoyed the food (we got two hot meals each way), the drinks service and everything else. We would certainly use this service again. We did have a birthday announcement made for our daughter who was 11 on the return flight and the cabin staff said no announcements would be made during "the night" and they would wait until after breakfast. This is obviously down to the cabin crew.
