Thomas Cook packages

So after a year of wishing we were back in our little Disney home, we finally got a little tipsy on wine and impluse booked a Thomas Cook online package for Next April into may (yay!) We are flying direct from Glasgow and staying at Cabana Bay Universal, at first i was excited for a change as we spent the two weeks last yeat at AOA and i thought staying at Universal would almost feel like a completely new holiday.

But now im getting worried i won't have enough Disney time without paying major amounts for taxis back and forth.
I was thinking of just booking a Disney hotel for 4/5 nights to get the benefits of this plus it means Magic Express back home.
But does anyone know, would Thomas Cook let me amend our package and pay any difference to accommodate this or will i have to pay out of pocket and essentially have two hotels booked at the same time?

Tried this with TC before, they cannot do split stays.

You'd have to book direct with Disney, or on Expedia etc. for your extra days.

Take a look at the Uber costs too, as that will cut down on your taxi fares

If you are doing 5 nights I would wait for free dining to be released on 21 April as the values should have the free breakfast offer.

I would ask TC to amend you booking to amend your Cabana bay stay to 5 nights less and book Disney separately once free dining has been released.

TC can't do that unfortunately, been there and tried. There is no flexibility in their packages

I've had a split stay with TC. Granted it was several years ago as we now do everything DIY but there wasn't any problem.

Might have been with their 'signature' range/brand?

With a bog standard package we were told last year it can't be changed from what you see online

No idea on changing but we love Cabana bay, will be our 3rd stay there in May.

It could well have been - it was several years ago but I think we did Hard Rock and Animal Kingdom Lodge.
