Does anyone have any recent experience of flying with Thomas Cook? We've flown with Virgin for years but for our summer trip we're returning with Thomas Cook. Our outward flight is with Virgin using miles and TC were so much cheaper for a one way return.

So far I'm not impressed as they've changed our booking and not sent any correspondence. We're trying their new premium cabin which sounds good in theory so fingers crossed.

We used them for a one way flight home last year. Not the best but not the worst. Not much padding on the seats in economy and you pay for all drinks, but they got us home for about £200pp instead of £1000pp VA wanted.

Thanks, we're having an issue with them at the moment. We booked in the premium cabin in September, selected seats and got confirmation. Supposedly the seats were actually 'comfort' seats so they moved us without any correspondence. The original seats were then made into premium seats but they've put other passengers into them.

Whilst realising that airlines can move passengers whenever etc, I feel that we should have been moved back into our original seats.

We flew with Thomas Cook less than a couple of weeks ago and thought they were fab, the flight going out was a bit tedious as it took longer but coming back was really quick, plenty of leg room, enjoyed the James Martin food and the IFE was good too, I would def fly with them again! :)
