Anyone who reads the Daily Mail will know that a couple of weeks ago, they published an article with the words in the title "With added dextrose" or words to that effect.

After reading the article and thinking that this dextrose is something horribly bad, I checked Wikipidia to see what it is.

Do you know what Dextrose is? It is another word for Glucose, or commonly known as sugar!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: man how they got it wrong!

Whilest you on wikipedia, check about the di-hydrogen monoxide hoax; that will make you roll over laughing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know in ante-natal classes they mention dextrose and all the other stuff added to childrens foods such as fructose (again sugar) its amazing sometimes to read 'no added sugar' products and see added fructose, dextrose, glucose etc.

if i remember correctly from school.... anything ending in "ose" is generally a sugar...

fructose = fruit sugar
lactose = milk sugar
