I somehow got the nerve up to ask one of my DD11 teachers out on a date.... Now before everyone starts flipping out and telling me I have no morals and blah blah blah I have known him for 5 years though my dd going to the same school and he is not and has never been a "primary" teacher of hers. Anyway he was quick to say "sure"!!!!he also told me that he is glad I asked him because he wasn't able to... So is there some rule that teachers are not allowed to ask parents out? OK back on subject.... We are going out Saturday night and I can't wait.... I really don't think I have been this excited about going out with someone since I went out with my ex husband for the firs time. By the way I have been seperated and or divorced since dd was 17 months old she is now 11 so as you can see it has been a while:)
So this morning he called me just to say "good morning"... How sweet is that? all together now awwwwwwwwww
Oh I need to add that dd does not know about this and she will not find out about it.......

No flames from me. Congradulations and I hope you have a wonderful time Saturday.....

Good for you having the nerve to make the move!!! Hope you have a great time.

You go girl! :cheer2: Have fun and don't forget to come back here with a full report!!!

awwwwwwwwwwwww he sounds like a sweetie! :)

Good for you! cant wait to hear how it goes!

No flames from me just :flower1: I think thats wonderful! I've been married 18 yrs but have heard how hard it is to meet 'normal' people in public now adays. If I trusted anyone it would be those who teach (at least most of them) unless your a blond woman :confused3 I wish you all the luck in the world and I hope you are just as excited when you come home. Good luck and have fun!

Good for you, no flames here! Will he be her teacher next year too, or just this year? If it's just this year, then I'd doubt you'll have any problems. If it will be next year too, well, then just be carefull on how things appear, that's all.

How exciting is that!!?? Have a great time & we want to hear all about it!! So do you pick out the evening & do you pick up the tab since you asked? I always wondered about that! He sounded very eager to accept your invitation too! Sounds real :goodvibes to me!

Good luck!

Hope you have a good time! But for the most important thing, does he like Disney? :)

This is her last year in the school.... OK what makes this that much easier is that he already knows I have a child and what makes it EVEN better is he likes her and she likes him!!!!!!!! That is half the battle when your a single parent! when I say that he is not her primary teacher what I mean is that he is something like a gym, music, art...That kind of teacher.....

How cool!!! Whatcha wearing on the date?!!!

How exciting! You HAVE To come back and let us know how it goes!

Have a great time!!!

:worship: That must have been a difficult thing to do - you should be proud. Have a great time and keep us posted!

This is a christmas party at a friends house... OK let me tell you it is not your average house party... last year he had the local marching band in his driveway to greet the guests... Yeah..I know... He tents his deck out and has a bar and a band besides having a theme every year... last year it was relieve your holiday stress. He had a manicurist, masseuse... Can't wait to see what is in store this year...
Oh yeah getting back to what I am wearing... A black dress.....

Good for you! That takes guts!
Hope you have a lot of fun! Please come back to give us an update! :goodvibes
