This was really wierd and a little scary!

I came home today and had an email that had an address as the subject (not mine) and I didn't reconize the senders address so was kind of afraid to open the attachment. When I did open it, it was about the comfort suites at MCO I have a ressie there for the night before our disney hotel. But this e-mail was for someone else staying there from chicago and it had all of their information, including their full CC # and exp. date!! I tried to reply to the e-mail and got and not able to deliver message. I called the hotel and they said they didn't send it, but their internet partners that book rooms may have by mistake. My next Question was how would they get my e-mail address and they said the internet partners have access to their ressie system and since our conf# were very close they must have pulled the other persons info but my address from the next line. I called the guy in Chicago to tell him about the e-mail and he said that he had canceled that ressie. Now I'm freaking out!! Who might get my CC# by accident. I thought everyone always put stars and only the last 4 numbers of CC# on any paperwork. Glad I got his e-mail and not someone who might use that info.

Just wanted to vent, sorry so long.

That's terrible Tracie!There must jave been a "glitch" in cyber space with that particular email but just makes you wonder how safe it is especially when you see a credit card number!

Also Scarey!! I got a dept. store cataloge twice with the lable half pealed off,and under was another name and address!! I was so appalled I called to complain and all they said was it wouldn't happen to me. When the second cataloge showed up the same way,and called and insisted that they take my name off their mailing list or I would report then to the state att. general,well that did it they became so concerned they coundn't take my name off their list fast enough!
