A co-worker of mine had to leave work today, because he had news from the Army that his DS had been injured while in combat. He was visibly shaken, and had to meet with the recruiting office and get more info. Hope all is well with him......

Prayers for him and his family. If that were me I would probably think...thank goodness they didn't show up on my doorstep. That's when it's really bad. It would help me keep it in perspective. I hope it's not too serious and he recovers quickly.
