Don't worry about the weather. We went in August at the height of rainy season, and the forecast called for thunderstorms every single day for two weeks. It rained twice, both times when we weren't in the parks. It was great! I'm sure you'll have similar luck, too.

While I haven't stayed at the AKL.....yet, I've been there several times.

Enjoy the atmosphere. We like sitting in the lobby. While we were there in June, there was a CM with a large poster board map of her home country and she answered alot of my friends' questions. I didn't listen in as I was "busy" rocking in a rocking chair overlooking the savannah overlook right outside the lobby. How relaxing and that was with lots of guest walking by.

I know the exact rocking chairs you speak of. I sat in one of those chairs last time I was at the World. We had dinner at Jiko and that's when the dreaming about staying at AKL began. Who knew we'd be staying there on our next trip?!

My nails are painted. (they're black for Halloween and I'm not digging it yet. I packed nail polish remover just in case.)

The movie "Clue" has been rented to watch on the airplane.

And now the alarm is set for 4 a.m.

I hope you have had a great time! We took our third-graders to the zoo today, and it only fueled my fire (not hard to do when it comes to Disney) for a trip to Animal Kingdom in another two weeks. I'm back!

The trip was WONDERFUL! We did SO much. I did a lot of things I haven't done before. I felt like it rained 1000 inches when we were there, but we had a blast anyways! A lot of the advice and tips I got here on the Dis boards helped us make our trip great. Animal Kingdom Lodge was the BEST! I am ruined for value and moderate resorts forever.

I will try to start my TR tomorrow...stay tuned.
