I stopped sleeping about a month before our trip. I was thoroughly exhausted before I even got there. But, once you get there, the adrenaline kicks in and you end up looking like this guy....

I leave in May . I have also started buying things for my trip. It is nice to see others do to.

I think I started buying stuff for my trip in, oh, January!

I have so much junk to put in my suitcase...I think I may need a U-Haul!

Um, is it bad that I haven't been able to sleep for the past 2 nights because I'm getting so excited for my trip?!?

I mean, there are only 15 days left till the trip, so in total, that will only be 17 sleepless nights, right?

One of my dearest friends is coming in for a visit this evening until Monday, so that will help the time pass. We have lots of fun plans...hiking, a spa day, a girls' night out, eating whatever we want and not feeling bad because we hiked our booties off. This will be my friend's first time away from her daughter (1 year old), so she's very excited, but a little nervous.

I should be able to sleep after the girls' night out after the consumption of some tasty beverages!

After my friend leaves, the next week and a half are going to DRAG by!

Wow, you guys are going to have a great weekend, I'm jel. This is totally lame but I just saw where you are staying, I have NO idea why I haven't noticed before but I really want to know what it's like at AKL. Now I really can't wait to hear the details!

Loves loves loves those glasses. I got some glasses for the goody bags I am making, they are a little different then the ones you got but I am thinking I am going to have to get those too.

I hate sleepless nights due to excitement. And not being able to concentrate on anything, even the simple task of watching T.V. is constantly interupted with thoughts of Disney. You are so close now, I am getting excited for the trip report.

Wow, you guys are going to have a great weekend, I'm jel. This is totally lame but I just saw where you are staying, I have NO idea why I haven't noticed before but I really want to know what it's like at AKL. Now I really can't wait to hear the details!

It was a great weekend! I had a facial at the spa and it was the absolute best one I've ever had. And going out Saturday was a blast also.

I really want to know what it's like at AKL too! I never thought we'd be able to stay there.

I'm in the single digits!

Yesterday, I called to add a dining reservation to our list. My cousin said she really wants to have seafood when we're there because she can't leave Florida without eating good seafood. So we'll be heading to Fulton's Crab House on the Sunday of our trip. I thought about Coral Reef, but I've read some pretty bad stuff about Coral Reef lately, so I decided against it.

Also, I FINALLY called to request a room location...Zebra Trail at AKL. I really hope we get that!

Oh, and I mentioned that it will be Beth's birthday when we're there. (actually her birthday is 6 days after we leave, but it's close). So I hope they acknowledge her birthday in some way!

I need to find shoes for my costume. I talked to my cousin and she has her whole costume! Yay! She's Mrs. Peacock, so she had some room to be creative. I can not wait to see what her costume looks like!

I am getting so excited. The next week and a half are going to DRAG by!

I can't wait to read your review on it, if it's good I was thinking on going there, I love seafood. coral reef really doesn't offer much seafood which I though was wierd, i like the place the food was ok but really limited choices, it was more of the dining atmosphere that made me want to book there again.

They probably think people will feel guilty eating seafood while they watch the fish We we're prety happy with what we had there but that doesn't seem to be the overall opinion.

Our little dog is still too young to realize what the suitcases mean. Ignorance is bliss, right?

There's a dog bakery right by our house where they have Roxy's fave treat...s'mores! I'm planning to pick up one of those to give her on my way out the door.

That's a good idea. I'll have to check for some this weekend. I kind of wish I had bought my Alice crocs in black...they look like ballerina flats.
